Hey guys-

Yes, I'm at that point where I'm soo freaking upset about this, what is it exactly?

It's none other than the lagg, it continues. How so?

Well ill give you some examples, first of all SHIELDS NEVER COME UP IN TIME AT ALL! WTH!!

And why the freak does the attack radius of toy soldiers overtake the radius of your own attack? What's up with that?
I mean you a good distance away and they still manage to freaking hit you anyway.

So.. errmm. back to the lagg

Ya,, either seeing myself doing anything like attacking the my surrounding froze, non-respondent, I shield, only to find that 30 or 40 seconds later, im laying there.. FREAKING DEAD!!
Or watching everyone walks across the screen and my controls go non-respondent,, the only thing I can do is chat and call for help, Not much you can do when your character Involuntarily moves on its own. then I find that I'm dead, But wait I can still move about?
Then trying to run FSC,, running along the edges of teh fire, avoiding the wheels, Only to find that im suddenly pushed into the fire- I'm dead.
Has any -one noticed that the Jellies range attack had increased? ITS TRUE!! your at a safe distance and Bam! the can still hit you! WTF!!?
Or, I manage to get past the wheels, and im suddenly whisked away back to the very beginning of the level, let me tell ya I HAVE FREAKING HAD IT!

No-one else believes me, I've even tried different armor sets, different shields, and I have concluded now more that ever with that post that the GMS are in fact watching us,, that somehow they derive pleasure from all of this, as a player like me get pushed on whisked away against my will, while they laugh it up. Its like they manually have settings on me, so that I cannot perform like the others.

No thanks to the GMs of OOO. Looks like im getting kicked yet again from another guild. LIKE WTF GUYS! STOP FREAKING HATING ME!!

I used to be able to make 1K Ce daily,, and I suspect that they are aware of such, now it seems they want me to somehow force me into using real money...........
Look- I've already checked everything- My windows was installed ( windows 7 ultimate 64-bit) - In addition I have a desktop PC with a Quad core processor - about 8 gigs of ram- FSB 800 mhz, and a video card Nividia 1800+ overclocked, and I evern checked my ISP as well- I even installed all updates and ALL latest drivers- and yet this FREAKING CRAP STILL PERSISTS, LIKE WTF!!! WHEN IS THIS GONNA GET FIXED???

I just might quit all this...

so now that OOO has gotten a 1 year,, of sorts, what exactly are they gonna do? add more spikes, More monsters with status effects?
Make the shadow liars even harder still... What a load of crap.........

Eh..

Make a video of your Issue with fraps, or do a speedtest.net and post results, Getting whisked back, Not being able to react, and Not being able to strike monsters, While taking damage are all results of lag.

I highly doubt the GMs are messing with you, thats just silly, you're being over-dramatic, and over-reacting, and that won't find a solve to your issue, If it presists call your ISP, or It could just be where you are located, or what Anti-Virus you are using, to be honest just take It to tech-support and don't flame fourms.

lol don't ever assume that just because a players avatar is male/female that that is the actual gender. Mr. angry is a character and i added person as opposed to man. Please use these forums properly, if you have a problem with lag/software put it in technical support, like Fondie said don't sound off; you will get no sympathy.

I just solo'd the Weight of Darkness mission with one death at the candlestick keep level. Just did the first wave arena only, though.

I have experienced your packet loss issue too

My wifi router is on the floor above. I have two networks available coming from the same internet connection. One's built into our ISP's modem, the other is my family's from before. When I connect to the ISP's modem's network, it's just awful. That one floor really makes a difference even though it says I have a decent connection. I can't play at all, I stutter, lag and die. Text takes several seconds to pop up, if at all. I walk into hazards unintentionally and pause for 20 seconds at a time. It's almost like I lose packets. It seems to be similar to what you experience in your OP.

BUT when I connect to the old reliable router, everything works well.

I noticed you didn't mention bypassing your router, but that could solve it.

If you're playing at home on wifi, see if you can hardwire connect to your modem when no one else is using the internet. If that solves it, get a better wifi router.

Outside of that, spiral knights is hosted through Amazon's server EC3, there isn't much SK can do. I know there are people playing SK from all over the world and many play with a red bar connection, but they don't experience the packet loss you have, so i'm guessing it's not distance.

From the previous comment, if you are playing wireless, try switching channels

also try to use wpa-2 encryption.

worst come to worst, invest in a dual band router, they are rarer at the moment and it could help you, but mind you, they are not cheap.
if your isp locks you down to a router, configure that router to bridge mode and connect a new router to it.

lastly, play near your router.
Walls are rather bad...

Your location that you're playing from also affects your lag(higher ping). Not much you can do about that though, maybe craft with mist for profit? It's what I tend to do when it really gets laggy like hell.

your location matters, but that lag is unearthly....
Personally i deal with greavers hitting me from half a screen away.
I have an SS to show that, but its a constant lag.
The only time when my lag is as bad as hikaru's is when my ISP takes a holiday.

I've gotten that kind of lag lately, both yours and Hikaru's, even with my PC specs being up to date and my broadbad still working. Constant freezes at literally one second intervals can make even spamming charges impossible eventually :L

Yeah, at that angle, see if you can bump them away to flank them from the bottom of the screen(semicircle kiting). i would then proceed to spam first hits of toothpicks while retreating to flinch greavers, if not for the epic lag.

Sometimes my router likes to be a jerk and make me lag on a JK or FSC run.

Hmmm ok..

Alright, so I can definitely relate to your issues, however mine didn't start with the new patch- it's always been this way. Lag is a serious problem with this game and I don't quite understand why I seem to get it worse than others, but I've learned to deal because I love the game. I get huge spikes in the lower stratas making vana runs and sometimes jelly runs a pain, but soloing Vanaduke isn't important to me so... *shrug*.... But that's just me.

Interestingly I used to have it even worse and that's how I can relate. Crazy jumps where I thought i moved forward only to be jerked back, frame speed of about -10, monsters hitting me from a distance, sword refuses to swing, just charge. It's infuriating. Here's what I did to try to improve performance:
*Graphics on Low- I wish I could go even lower because this is what really helped things. The change between high and low really is hardly noticeable.
*Moved as Close to my Wireless Modem as I Could- I am currently in the room next to the modem which is on the other side of the wall in a closet. I suppose if I sat in the closet it would be stellar but that's...not comfortable...
*Found a Guild with Understanding/Amazingly Nice People: I used to be in a guild where there were two active people, me and a guy who was hardly on the same level as me. The community of KaD (knights and day) took me in and taught me how to solo the JK, even with a little lag, and be a contributing party member in FSC even when you die every 5min because you don't know what's going on. If your guild is kicking you out because of your lag then you need to find a guild that'll understand that problem and not give a flying hoot about it.
*Did Runs with Others- I stopped trying to solo what I couldn't do with the lag and found self sufficient parties from my guild that were going down. If a party has enough experience to get to vana with minimal deaths then that's the party you want.

TL;DR: Stop freaking out and be proactive about fixing your lag. Find a nice guild that understands what you're going through. Get close as you can to your wireless. Graphics on low. You're not the only one who's experienced these problems.

To anyone that keeps complaining, try and develop your own java based MMO-like 3d game, release it world wide and see if you can make everyone have zero lag. If you can finish it, then congratulations, send a letter to OOO so they hire you and fix their problems yourself.

Actually, i can give you several examples of games that run Flawlessly.

Let's see ~ There is S4 league, There is DC Universe Online, Maple Story, Rusty Hearts, So ya there IS actually ones that run very well without the instances of such horrible lag. The fact is, many others have had success, and so far this MMO at least from what I have seen in the forums, has soo many problems.

You wouldn't happen to be talking to the same game that has been lately having various bits of server instability including but not limited to rampant crashes, DDOS attacks launched upon it, and atop that even without said DDOS attacks certain mounts -- including one that one popular class heavily relies upon (read: is the source of all their attacking skills) -- have as of late caused lag enough for some players to make the game unplayable for them at certain times? The same game that has had a glitch in one of their classes' skills that makes it so that the user of the skill (Dragon Thrust) could potentially get kicked off the game by the game's internal anti-hacker 'GM Police' program, and possibly even banned? The same game that has at more than one point forgotten to make a new boss resistant to Poison, and in at least one case on record ended up releasing two such bosses in a state that made it so that Poison killed them within seconds when they were meant to stand up to assault by a whole town of characters?

Please tell me you're not. As much as they're trying, supposedly or otherwise, to fix their issues, they still have issues.

Especially please tell me you're not seeing as the problem of the OP is -- as has been beaten into the ground -- entirely their own, and ways they could get help for it or fix it have been detailed already, so all you're doing is unproductive bashing of a game on its own forums. I know I'm not one to talk, as I'm REPLYING to said bashing, but as a player of both MapleStory and Spiral Knights who has had infinitely less problems from Spiral Knights than from MapleStory's long history of glitches, bugs, errors, and flaws, your little snippy remark managed to spark a bit of ire in me.

EDIT: Also, before I get misconstrued as bashing MapleStory senselessly -- I do happen to enjoy playing MapleStory. It's been quite fun, and I've got a few characters in at the least 3rd Job. However, as much as I like it I know it's not perfect -- and am keenly aware of those flaws I pointed out (heck, I remember the Halloween that that last bit happened!), and as such am not about to delude myself into thinking they're a paragon of Doing It Right.
