Actually... If you get ASI on the DVS, you can interrupt with the combo, and use the charge well.
I use ASI ultra, and I think it starts being usable at ASI VH. Also, be VERY wary after you first upgrade it, it wont have the power to kill them fast enough or interrupt them until you get to level 8 or 9. Remember to shield cancel when you start to see them preparing an attack, and you'll almost always want to use two attacks before you stop; the second swing, not the first, puts them juuuust far enough away to keep you from harm.
But really? Winmillion is not a wise idea ATM, and DVS is only good with ASI, NOT damage.

I suggest the Dread Venom Striker
Given the game's current state, I'd say go with the DVS. The winmillion's range can be helpful, but the projectile on the winmillion does not do that much damage. Plus the winmillion's bullet can easily miss at close range. By comparison, the DVS's second hit will often hit the target, and the DVS won't make devilites, wolvers, and gremlins dodge as much. They'll still dodge, but not as much.

Hi!
I already have some 5* swords, just looking for a different line to freshen things up a little.
Assuming I go with the DVS, CTR or ASI uv is better?

CTR
CTR is useful, mine has low on it, but the ABSOLUTE first thing to get, is ASI... With a single charge i can do 1200-1400 damage with no boosts. But you NEED THAT ASI to live.

The Cutter series already has
The Cutter series already has a very fast charge time, so definitely ASI.
If you are planning on making them your main weapons, choose neither. They are not good as beginner weps since DVS is risky and Winmillion only goes to 4*
Now, if you already have other 5* weapons...
DVS if you want to actually use it (say, in JK or Vanaduke speed runs)
Winmillion if you just wanna have a fun time with this awesome weapon.
