So it appears that my AP's graphics have become messed up.. but in a good way. It now shoots black eagles! Shall I keep this or re-install?

It's an issue with certain graphic cards and settings. I believe turning on/off Compatibility Mode in the in-game Advanced options fixes the AP eagle.

You set the Anti-Alising thingie to 1x
Bump it up to 2x at minimum to get the golden eagle back, or keep it at 1x so your comp doesnt melt

I used to think the bird(s) were supposed to look like that. It's a compatibility mode issue like the old black jelly bug.
It kinda fits the Sentenza bird actually, but not so much AP. Yes, Sentenza gets a black bird too. :P
i don't even-
