Inside a Shield...?

Hello, I was wondering... in this situation:

I'm in a danger room. My partner is using bombs. The meantime my health is 1/2 bar. I'm shielding. His is like 1 1/2 bars. What if he tries to occupy the place where I am shielding and we were together on the same spot, he becomes shielded too? I'm asking because me and my teammate/s have a hard time in arenas and danger rooms. Please answer. Thank you for your help.

If your shield stops the

If your shield stops the projectile far enough that the splash won't touch him, then yes. But otherwise, knights occupying the same spots will be hit.

MAY work on ranged attacks only.

With or whitout the splash thing, most melee enemies will push you if you have the shield up, thus leaving your friend uncovered anyways.
