There are some really obnoxious things I've seen popping up in chat. These need to be stomped ASAP.

- ASCII symbols in chat, especially block characters, to make messages stand out. Excessive punctuation for the same reason. All special characters not needed for the language of the zone you're in need to disabled entirely, and a single message doesn't need more than 10 punctuation characters in total.

- Shouts. I saw this for the first time today, and I was surprised you'd put it in the game in the first place. No one should be able to cover my screen with gigantic red letters. White chat boxes are nowhere near as obnoxious.

- Circumventing the anti-capslock feature with punctuation. You can put periods or whatever in front of your message in order to get all caps.

Silly.

Sure, they're obnoxious, but I don't see these as "needing to be stomped out ASAP".

For # 1, Block the player.

For # 2, Block the player.

For # 3, Block the player.

Now this is only assuming that the "ignore" feature doesn't work as I think it does.

Yeah, thanks again for teaching us how to type in all caps! I seriously hated the anti-caps feature. Now I can shout even louder =D

Back on topic, I don't see those very often and they're not really that obnoxious in my opinion. You can block/complain anyways, or just ignore them altogether.

(I like to use ASCII art, shouts, and all-caps for comedic effect, so maybe I'm biased =P)
