Our shields break while monster shields don't!
Funny!
On a related note, if the crystal in Trojan backs is their only vulnerable point, then why do they need shields?
the shields are the REASON the back is the only weak point. The crystal just kind of highlights it.
Why can't the shields shatter like ours, and then heal?
Well the Trojans' shields are massive compared to ours, so I guess they would have a much larger energy supply, and also are probably made/powered by a shadow energy source.
And I guess the robots' shields don't break because they don't continuously shield all the time when getting attacked, therefore their shields have time to regenerate.
They do break just after they are dead
I think tier 3 Gremlin Thwackers have never ending shield health. I'm not in tier 3, but I looked them up on the wiki.
Mean that shield thats on the gremlins back? Because yeah Im pretty sure those things never break.
Theres also these ANNOYING mortar gremlins in Operation Crimson Hammer that have a shield making their front side completely invulnerable and not allowing them to be hit.

Nobody mentions this because it's fair. They can have a shield up for eternity and still be vulnerable on one side, or you can put up a shield when you need to and be invulnerable temporarily.
I do know of a monster whose shield can break... In Operation Crimson Hammer, the gremlin mortar has a shield at his front. If you damage it continuously, the shield would break and it would lose its armour. It would have to pick its armour back up to gain its shield and mortar back.
That's balanced by the fact that the damn thing keeps turning and moving.
Nobody has ever mentioned this!
