Are there separate odds for the confirmed accessory (1 in 34 chance) or are they skewed like dragon and valkyrie wings promotions; where the prism, divine, volcanic and shadow items have a much rarer chance of dropping?

It's a moot point for me since I'm not participating in this CE promotion (I'll wait for a costume CE promotion rather than intangible items like accessories.) But it's the right thing to do for people so they know what the odds are before they put their money in the preverbal slot machine.

If you read the patch notes, the items are grouped by drop rates. The 22 items under 4% each have 4% chance of obtaining from the pack. The 9 items under 2% has 2% when you obtain the pack. The items under 1% will have 1%. Which means, yes, its skewed. The percentages are given, and it's up to you to believe those numbers or not.

I'd love to see that happen actually, Spiral Knights lottery!! Who will win the hat(s)!!! That's actually kind of nifty lol. This is more like if you get CE of 9.95$ & up, you get an SK chance at the lottery to win an epic item from here UNBOUNDED! The confetti is just because it's an anniversary so it's just an extra added to buying CE. I don't see this as a promotion on the CE advertising campaign. Guess I'm not wearing the tin foil hat after all! HAH!! lol (i'd say it's the other way around for the forumers) & thus you guys remind me of the beggers in haven, 130 crs por favor? :<

after reading the email about the anniversary i applaud ooo for being transparent about how the event works :) although you missed to say the chance of double prizes

Each of those accessories carry a certain percentage to being obtained. Think of it as a bag you randomly pull prizes out of. There are 4 of some items, 2 of some, and only one of the rest. You'll definately get something

If you are referring to the bonus chance of receiving double prizes, there wasn't any mention of that rate in the patch notes. The percentage shown is the base, no double prize percentage.

Whatever you want to think, I'm just saying that you will get something, unlike your original idea, where there is a low chance of receiving a prize.

21 items at 4% each. 84%
9 items at 2% each. 18%
4 items at 1% each. 4%

Yes, numbers are a bit off, it is probably the same numbers used for the other events such as Dragon and Valk Wings.

Numbers are for each color, except for the rare ones.

For basic ones it is probably 11.2%/3 or roughly 3.73%... rounds easily to 4%.
For special probably the 6.2%/3 or roughly 2.06%. Actually better odds then stated, but rounds nicely to 2%.
And the rare one is 3%/4, or about .75%. Unless they took extra .06% off the special ones to knock it up to about .88% each. Again, easily rounds up to 1%

Either way the odds are easier for most people to read as straight percents rather then X.XX%.

If anyone knows where I can farm my slices in the arcade that would be AWESOME! Is it like the halloween one? Power complexes / clockwork tunnels farming etc?

When is this Event going to end? I have no Internet at my House, so I have to goto Hotspots that really suck, so I'd like to know when I should get my Game Face on & start Farming the most in certain time slots.

Iron Knight Gate has only two levels just after Moorcroft Manor and they are both clockworks tunnels, so it seems like a best place for farming - you can repeat them without waiting for level rotation.

I love it.

The daily prestige mission really got me into it. Good little misson there. Perhaps next year it will be double levels long with a Cake boss that shows every anniversary.

Lots of nice screen shots there for the guild site. Now I hunt the clocks for CAKE !

Thank you for giving us a costume that is free (much like the o'hallow eve masks). A cupcake bandoleer would have been clutch ta boot, perhaps next year.

Was looking forwards to a serious update on the game's anniversary, and...we get this. I think it's about time I join most of the older players, and simply move on...

To another year of adventuring, and plenty more to come! Eurydice, Is the Core going to be available yet? I already know and understand that the Core is still in the works for a while now, but pretty soon, we won't be adventuring to just one mysterious planet made up of other world pieces and massive amounts of gears. There may be more to just exploring the planet Cradle than it's mysteries. Sooner or later, the Skylark's repairs will need to be completed, as we may need to travel across the universe to the many worlds that have been affected with Cradle's creation, save them from the various dark forces, and beyond, especially several worlds that aren't a part of Cradle's construction. Other than that, keep up the great work keeping the game more fun and adventurous than before! You, and the rest of the team, too.
