UV dmg bonus vs undead VERY High - CIV or Lev?
So i recently acquired this new calibur, (im keeping it), with a very nice UV. But im really curious, should i make it into a Levi or a CIV?
cuz i know the difference between the two, but which one would be better with this UV?
and a price check for just the calibur would be nice, i bought it without knowing the price xD

I'd go with making the Leviathan a more multi-purpose blade. That way I carry less blade weapons and can level or carry more guns and bombs as needed.
Well..... I would just go for a divine avenger with the sun silver, liv is nice and all but it still don't really beat a DA.

As much as one might be enamored of his DA, the OP was asking about which path to take with his UV Calibur series. Each blade has its own qualities. Whether a Leviathan with Very High UV Undead Damage out performs in speed and damage over time against a DA is something that I don't believe has been proven. The OP may be more interested in in undead paths like The Citidel, which would make his endgame blade ideal.
Just want to point out that sun silver isn't something that should be used with out some planing beforehand, DA is still more useful than liv in firestorm. At least that's my experience.
Also, if you really is gonna go for firestorm runs then vog should be you choice.

By sheer popularity, you see more Vogs. With heavier hitting blades, Vog may let you slip in that extra swing fast enough to take out a monster before needing to use your shield. The Vog's elemental protection is useful in more scenarios than the Skolver's piercing protection at the moment. Although, I do prefer the way the Skolver looks.

Perhaps make a separate thread to prove your claim with concrete data. In other words, when making claims that one item is better than the other, you need similar weapon level, gear, and mobs.

You do realize Divine Avenger and Leviathan have two different playstyles no?
I've been to Firestorm Citadel many times, with group members that had either weapon.
Leviathan is better for just whacking away at skeletons. Two hits, guard, two hits, guard. Takes them out fast.
Divine Avenger is better if you want to use your charge attack. It's normal attack is slow and only lets you get off one strike before you have to put up your guard to block a hit.
Arguably, Divine Avenger's charge IS better for clearing out clumps of undead, but Leviathan isn't that far behind. The circle slash lands 3 hits on anything in a corner or stationary, making it demolish gunpuppies and Trojans. It repels and wounds skeletons also, which is nice if you're fighting next to one of those gates. Against Vanaduke himself, definitely Divine Avenger, seeing as your charge attack can hit him many times, dishing out nice damage.
Honestly, the only reason I would get Divine Avenger over Leviathan is cause it's shiny. I would LOVE a Leviathan, but it simply takes way too long for me to get, while people are cranking out Divine Avengers like clockwork and selling them cheap. Sun silver also isn't that hard to procure now. I've been through 3 T3 runs, and I've gotten 2 sun silvers. Sold for a hefty amount of cash too.
Back on topic. I would say go for Leviathan, it's an awesome looking blade, that UV cover's it's weak spot, and now you've got an all-in-one anti-baddie weapon.
Thanks Cantus, you're very helpful
lol and i like how this thread got a little off topic, but its okay :P useful food for thought
Leviathan is better in every scenario but Undead anyway, and with that UV, the weapon would have a LOT of bonus damage wasted(high + high pushes you really far over the damage bonus cap, wasting a lot of potential).
Leviathan Blade with or without that UV.
