Why does my Knight walk funny now? His legs are moving, but his Torso is just...stuck in Limbo.
Um...I know the new Targeting Crusor for Carrying Keys/Statues/Vials is neat & all, but...
My guy doesn't do the typing anim when in menus.
Glad I'm not the only one. I submitted a bug report about it a few hours ago..
On an unrelated note: The forums are giving me the perpetual "Down for Maintenance" splash, again. Back to using the proxy...
(Yes, I cleared cache and all. This crap didn't fix itself until 2-3 weeks later the first time around)
lol in AH, mmm what is everyone doing there crossing their arms?
Strange that Bombs aren't Affected...
EDIT: Kinda unrelated, but Shackles seem to just Pop out of Nowhere. I think the Purple "Cloud" is Bugged, too.
When I was at the auction house, that 'typing' animation didn't go, everyone just stood there. Looking forward. Twitching.
Thrill of the night, I guess.
I think everyone has a Stroke from eating all those Cakes.
The diabeetus cometh.
I do hope this is a bug. The new walk just looks so... suave.
It's just that hypnotic ingredient in the (cup)cakes that biscotti conveniently neglected to mention that was involved with the creation of said (cup)cakes.
Baking goods taking over the Curdle.
No biggie.
Just another day for the knights.
I had problems with shankles popping out of nowhere, but that was before the latest reboot (not the normal daily reboot). I figured it was lag at the time because I was having other lag like symptoms.
i'll explain about people crossing their arms...their actually hugging themselves, its EoS's wish...OOO granted it
I kind of laughed at the whole ragdoll physicsness of this at first, but now it looks weird.
the "inspecting" animation bug is sooo damn funny XD! and it can be shields cancelled rapidly to make u look derp XD! but yeah i noticed this as sooon as i started walking around with the sprites held, looks like legs dangling from a Y-axis stationarty torso XD
The animations associated with lifting and throwing objects have a small bug that is causing these issues. It will be fixed in the next patch.
@Nick;
What about the glitching busy animation? The knights just look silly when they derp out in front of the Auction House.
And the walk animation direction not matching movement direction animation? Didn't report this bug back then, but since animation fixes is going on now... o_o
I actually dont like the arrows when u carry water, it has actually worsened my aim, the arrows are just a distraction, u dont need arrow that aim straight where ur Knight is facing, its common sense pls take it out xD
Big Brother Knight, my hips are moving on their own!
Out of curiosity, are these patches tried on a test server before implemented into the main game?
Edit: Although there should be a toggle or button that let's you turn the arrow for aiming on and off similar to auto-target.
The reason it's distracting you is because you're aiming lower than where the arrow is aiming.
The knight will always face the cursor in relation to the head. The arrow will always face the cursor in relation to the floor, which is what all attacks are based on.

... actually, why not make knights face the cursor in relation to the floor? The arrows won't be needed anymore then.
It seems silly to have targeting crosshairs for statues when they lock into the center of buttons now anyway. It's even more perplexing that the crosshairs show up for keys, since those aren't even supposed to be placed on the ground. Why have crosshairs for things that don't matter (statue/key placement) and not have them for things that do matter (bomb placement)?
(Please don't put in crosshairs for bomb placement, OOO. We don't need anymore unnecessary "aids" cluttering up our UIs.)
Regarding the arrows for water/vials, I don't even notice them when I play. The aid may be helpful for some people who keep their mouse cursors close, as Sirenblue pointed out, but my eyes and mouse cursor are usually hovering around where my target is, so it's practically a non-update for me.
I'm only keeping it close to show where the cursor is. It's the same when the cursor is far away.
I'm pretty sure people don't want to use rulers on their screens nowadays.
^Same.
