I think we'd see a Retrode mask before this...
Like Juances said, what you've provided doesn't have nearly the amount of detail to suit Spiral Knights, nor does it match current helmet aesthetics.
EDIT:
Now, if you're able to adapt your concept into something more suited to Spiral Knights, then we've got something to work with. Alternatively you might try to convince some of the great artists in the forum community to help you in realizing your idea. I wish you luck.

I like this turn of tide
Instead of copying Invader Zim and bringing lawsuits to Three Rings, we can do what TF2 did to us: make a costume hat out of one of their hats, namely the cardboard box Soldier wore last Halloween. Everyone remembers this from the TF2 - Spiral Knights promotion.

For the record, at no point did I think Invader Zim was his idea, nor did I imply it. I said that what he provided (he provided an image) was not detailed enough for Spiral Knights. I also said that his concept (his concept was that of an Invader Zim costume) might hold some weight if he was able to adapt it better.
A plain gray bucket on your head would look the same. Just paint some eyes.
The cartoon can look cute, but lacks details for this game. It's too simple.
