First off I offered 12000CE. And if you meant 40000, nobody would pay that much. That is $30 in CE, that is not an unfair price. There's someone else on this forum offering 10k CE, go hate on him too.
Second, Statiicz, I don't see you making a straight offer in CE. Your backpack is filled with weapons so if you're willing to overpay when you could go get buds for $30, go ahead. I already have a pair of buds and I merely want to convert my CE to TF2 items. Get off my back.

Edit: Also, if you think I'm a scammer, just check out my profile below. I have high end items, I paid high for them. I'm just after some buds for a price I deem fair. My steamrep is clean and I haven't been VAC banned on a profile I've had for -7- years. If the price really is too low for the SK community, I'll bump it up. But I think 12k is fine as a start.

no, the price is not fair, b/c if people wanted face value in dollar/ce they can buy from the company and support them in turn. buds are at least 16000ce, 4000ce more than what you are offering. There are a lot of people who don't know the market and sometimes seek quick ce, I have had people offering to sell me keys and bills half below their price so I know undercutting exist. I refer them to my buy thread and correct them, because as much as I love to lowball, I feel guilty if its an absolute ripoff. There are multiple people asking to buy keys for 800+ ce, which means you are trying to buy buds for 15 keys or less, so ya we are trolling you.
Btw, you yourself understand you are lowballing which is why you gave that elaborate (logically flawed) reason for your price, if you are lowballing to make profit thats fine, if you want to convince people that you are not and give a terrible reason? thats bordering scamming

Lowballing to make profit =/= offering CE at the $ equivalent. Unfortunately I don't spend all day on these forums and I put a price up that I deemed fair, clearly it wasn't.
I still stand by my comment about the spreadsheet, however.
Sure, people can pay face value, but what if they'd rather use another digital item to get the CE equivalent instead of digging into their wallet. I'd rather you didn't insinuate I was merely out to scam people, but I do find it cute you had to throw 'my buy thread' in there to promote yourself.
The problem here was I overestimated the value of CE, the reason I want to get rid of my stuff is how unreliable spiral knights stuff is compared to TF2.
I've overpaid for a lot of stuff in the past and I've sold for less more than enough times. So I'd rather you didn't attack me in my own thread for something I was clueless on.
But seriously. In future - to get your point across, don't go promoting your own thread whilst accusing and insinuating someone is a scammer, especially if you don't even know how they've traded in the past. It's not as if I too haven't had people offer way over the amount, and told them they're overpaying, made them lower it, because I do in fact have a conscience. You can white knight all you want, but getting on the horse is way too much.
Generally I don't appreciate being called a scammer, someone without a conscience and someone aware of his 'intent to scam' when I've been nothing but fair before.
I'll make a new thread and pay 17k CE anyway. So dry the tears up and accept the fact I wasn't aware.
