Before you mention, I'm sure there probably are threads concerning this issue, but since the search bar is fairly... well.. lackluster I figured I'd create my own.

Lockdown bombers - no problem
Not seeing haze bombs that have been placed while I'm waiting to respawn during a match - problem

This issue has caused me to be poked to death yet again after being shocked / stunned by an invisible haze which then leads to another invisible hazing due to me waiting during respawn.

I also realise that the colour of the bomb fuses are red for the opposing team, but when it is placed its impossible to tell which team the bomb belongs to. Is there a way of slightly tinting the haze (not so much as to make it difficult to tell which bomb it is) to make it easier to differentiate?

Instead of tinting the whole mist, give it some skull/cross/warning sign pattern. Or paint only the borders.

@Juances

@Juances Yeah the borders sounds like a better idea. Or have team hazes invisible to you? So you only ever see enemy bombs

@Hadn:

I'd prefer to have my team's hazes visible, thanks.
Sometimes it helps to determine the area which enemies try to avoid; just for tactical usage - e.g. blocking them off on both sides, one with a Shivermist and the other with a Polaris wall; or to see if someone's area cancelling one point so I can move on to the next.

As for the coloration; as Juances suggested having painted borders could help immensely.

Hmm

I actually take advantage of there being no distinction. If an enemy bomber is spamming haze, I'll drop one so that incoming enemy strikers will assume it is all friendly haze, get shocked and die.

Unfortunately a friendly might fall for the same, but usually they'll see the enemy still spamming and assume it is all deadly.

Coloured borders sound best

Coloured borders sound best then.

Would still like to see the "invisible haze" problem resolved though.
