Ok, I'm caffinated now.
Check out this page, it will help in your decision making.

Opinion: DA is better against crowds, especially if the monsters are slow, while the three Brandishes are better against individual targets. Each Brandish's status effect has advantages and disadvantages. There is no universal clear winner.
*kills myself due to appalling grammer*
Anyway, it depends on what you want the elemental sword for, controlling crowds, or pure DPS. Glacuis is better for crowd control, with the freeze stopping the enemies in their tracks, while DA is better for extreme DPS in places like FSC.
IMO, I'd chose neither, go voltedge, which is more party friendly, and in nearly all situations, beats glacuis in DPS.
However, I can comment on the WRH. it's the highest single target DPS, however, it's more dangerous then any other elemental sword, and it's not quite so useful against wolvers. If you learn to use it, it is also one of the funniest weapons
EDIT: Pretty much what got said above, it's a slightly less biased , and more professional opinion, since I use voltedge, and my only major view of DA comes from a friend of mine
Meh. I've had bad experiences with Dodge. They tend to break every few years.
I'd totally go with the corvette. If it was in the mix.
I'm a huge fan of the corvette.
But..this is my favourite car.
In this argument of DA vs Brandish lines the corvette is the rocket hammer
depends on HOW you use the DA charge...
paired with a glacius/shivermist it can be a realy nice combo (and dealing massive damage) but when the DA users just spams it charge at team mates they will get anoyed by getting surrounded by zombies all the time... it's not the size that matter it's how you use it :p
THIS I ANN ARGUMENT ABOUT THE DA VS BRANDISHES!!!!!!!!!!NOT cars...
(i think a Veyron super sport is better)
I've done this on similar threads, thus I'll do it here.
I vote Glacius
The DA is nice because it keeps enemies back, but I rarely need it. In PVE, the main time I use a DA is the last stage of arenas with tons of Mecha-Knights running around, however I recently discovered that bombs like Shivermist and Voltaic Tempest are easier solutions. The knockback is nice, but it's hard to deal tons of damage (unless you count a decent amount of damage dealt to 3+ targets). The charge tends to scatter enemies randomly, which gets you roughly the same result of spamming a Pulsar for 5 seconds.
the Glacius charge is pretty much "fire and forget." The Glacius deals with hordes, not by knocking them back like the DA, but by pausing them, so you can deal with them one small group at a time. The 3-hit combo also does more damage than the DA combo, and can be canceled after the second strike if needed (While the DA is pretty much one strike + cancel or the full combo). Against enemies like Lumbers or Slag Guards, you can simply freeze lock. Run up to them, and throw a charge shot in their face. While they are frozen, meander behind them and unleash another charge shot (or just a full combo). Repeat until the target is dead. I particularly love the Glacius because on Slag Guards, the freeze line can pass through their shield, and hit their exposed back, doing a little bit of damage and (more importantly) freezing them. Once frozen, you can easily walk around behind them and throw another charge into their back.
If you hop back a few paragraphs, you may notice the phrase "In PVE" when talking about the DA. In Lockdown, the DA is far superior to the Brandishes (Unless you are one of those guys who runs around with CTR Max Voltedge cough cough). Its easier to hit and the combo kills Skolver Strikers (unless they have Heart Pendants).
Irontech Destroyer beats everything.
But seriously folks, the DA's better for pure DPS while Glacius is good for crowd control as well as DPS. Both can wipe out loads of enemies in a Graviton at once. As for WRH, it's awesome if you use it right, but if you don't... it's dangerous. Also, the dash doesn't hurt either Twin, though it probably wipes the floor with Slag Guards. FoV does that too, but... 40 Almirian Seals is a lot.
I prefer the combuster because the CC (crowd control) from the voltedge & glacius are not needed, and the extra damage is nice.
Really, I would say it's between the DA and voltedge/combuster. The glacius has too much crowd control.
@Sypsy You can never have too much crowd control.
Anyway, Combuster is a poor choice for FSC since you miss out on the burn from the charge, and the presence of T3 oilers means any application of fire is a party wipe just waiting to happen.
The DA is brilliant for knocking out the big zombie spawns that pop up, although in tight quarters it might be wise to have the better maneuverability of the Voltedge/Glacius. Also, the Brandish charges are a little less annoying when people start spamming than the exploding light missiles of the DA. I for one use a Glacius (Damage vs Construct:High) and I was able to blast through Vana with a second guy who was wielding a Voltedge.
Nope. Combuster is the only elemental Brandish that can dish out the full blast of the explosion chain. Even without fire in FSC it still potentially has the highest dps.
"Anyway, Combuster is a poor choice for FSC since you miss out on the burn from the charge, and the presence of T3 oilers means any application of fire is a party wipe just waiting to happen."
Lol? There are extremely few Oilers in FSC. I believe they'll all in D24, aren't they?
Also, Oilers in FSC are ALWAYS on fire with all the shadow fire around, so Combuster won't hurt.

Nevermind, I need more coffee.
