...I'm worried about those outcasts, would Architect really destroy them? If they could fight back though, what weapons would the outcasts use?

They will simply run away and let us handle the situation. Besides, before emberlight, the King has to go thru our many outposts in the clockworks, thus giving a warning with enough time to prepare. Besides he cant just fit an entire army in an elevator.

They'll fall back
They are always afraid of getting wiped out. But, I'm sure that if they get invaded they'll fall back to moorcroft.
