Volcanic Plate Shield vs Ironmight Plate Shield vs Ancient Plate Shield

Looking to know which one of these i should get. Does IPS sacrifice a large amount of normal defense to get the piercing defense? Does Ancient have more Normal defense than all of them because it doesnt have fire res?

Things i'll be using the shield for is mostly tanking stuff. Like when soloing Vana, or in SL Vana. And most of all the unknown passage. (Since they all do normal)

Also, which UV (Considering im on a Medium UV budget) would be best for VPS and IPS?

Note: Getting the vana tokens for Ancient is no problem considering ive earned over 600 Vana tokens and vendored a ton of ancient stuff already. (Didnt keep any tho)

All of them are bad compared to Crest of Almire, specially for the use you're gonna give them (vana and SL)

Based on speculation and

Based on speculation and assumption, I'd like to say that:

(when compared to a shield's primary defense of equal star level)
IPS: x1.5

VPS: x1.5

Ancient: x2
Ancient's armors function this way, essentially giving you the Normal defense of four 5* armors.

IPS and Ancient are fantastic for the Unknown Passage, but the three are not particularly as great for the FSCs. VPS pulls over the other two because of the Fire resist.

Ancient is complete crap for t3. The only place it is useful is against trojans. It breaks very quickly in any other places. Get Volcanic, its useful in many places.
