What is a good loadout?
Any tips?
Thanks
I am changing from swordsmaster to gunslinger
Meta's Loadout
Seerus:
Seerus mask
Nameless/Justifier
2x Trueshot
Swiftstrike buckler
Non-seerus:
A full set of any 5* gunslinger gear
2x Trinket of either dmg/asi, perhaps subbing one out for a ctr trinket if you use alchemers and blitzes more often.
It has piercing defense and stun resist, neither of which are useful if you're using guns.
I disagree Metagenic. Late game, and especially Shadow Lairs, specialize in giving you less space to work. Even gunslingers can run out space in an alarmingly short amount of time in something like the Ice Queen.
Even in Ice Queen Palace I daresay Nameless is more useful because it has freeze resist. Also, wouldn't an Ash of Agni take out a large percentage of piercing damage from the Ice Queen levels?
Freeze isn't that bad, IMO, especially when a smart/nearby teammate happens to swing a sword in your general direction. Shield Bumping also works too.
And yes, AoA do reduce a lot of the pierce damage, yet it doesn't completely remove it. I honestly had no problem with the individual slimes. People only began taking heavy hits when 3-ish Giant Lichen Colonies were running around, and their AOE attacks are pierce. Also, the Bomber himself runs out of space just as often as the gunner (If not more often due to the general nature of bombs).
Above all else, armor is for mitigating mistakes. You WILL make a mistake, I can guarantee that. Theoretically, you shouldn't need armor if you know how to dodge everything. However, in tier 3 especially, you receive a LOT of pain when you screw up accidentally. Thus, its good to at least have some safety net.
It is important to understand that you can't rely on a Swiftstrike Buckler in T3 or shadow lairs. When you are in big trouble and need a shield to save your bacon, a Swiftstrike Buckler will not save you. It is fine to use in T2 but the low health and lack of piercing, elemental, and shadow defense are serious limitations later on.
Planning your late game loadout with a Swiftstrike Buckler is not recommended. It will break easily and it will break often.
Nameles hat
Radiant silvermail (you can use shadowsun for overall dmg isntead of ud aswell)
Dragon scale shield
2x elite trueshot
blitz+callahan+biohazard+polaris/magma
So you get fire, freze, poison and curse resistance...
armor types well rounded (fire and shadow will have equal with others with no uv)

Arguably, Divine Veil with Justifier Jacket is a better general-purpose set than Nameless Hat with Radiant Silvermail. More status protections.
I use my ssb in my gunslinger set everywhere. Fsc, fiends, you name it. Anywhere I gun, I use ssb.
Has anyone else noticed the Node # of this thread? ^o^
OT: I don't really have anything meaningful to say, but I can tell you that I love my Peacemaker. :)
My loadout:
Perfect Mask of Seerus
Swiftstrike Buckler
Shadowsun Slicker
2x Elite Trueshot Module
Callahan (or Blitz Needle where necessary)
Nova Driver (or Magma Driver in ice themed slime areas at Tier 2 and higher)
Umbra Driver
A sword of appropriate damage type or status effect for the area (usually a toothpick w/ Fiend High or my Suda w/ Undead High)
This nets me CTR VH on Level 10 guns, ASI VH, and Damage Max. On my alchemers I have CTR M UV's, which means I get CTR Max, ASI VH, and Damage Max. Perfect for charge spamming. My Sentenza, Peacemaker, and Callahan have ASI M UV's because they're less for charge spamming and more for pinpoint accuracy.
Gear:
Shadowsun Stetson
Shadowsun Slicker
Swiftstrike Buckler
Elite Handgun Focus Module
Elite Quick Draw Module
Result: CTR very high, ASI ultra, DMG very high.
Weapons:
Nova Driver or Argent Peacemaker
Umbra Driver or Sentenza
Callahan or Blitz Needle
Leviathan Blade
