So, yesterday I got issued 3DsMax and I already figured out how to rig, key models etc. Experimented a bit with Team Fortress 2 models and it turned out pretty well. I wonder if I could do the same with SK ones. Shall I succeed, I'll be able to do awesome movie-like animation. I'll just need to rig 'em.

Well, I can't open them. They're .dat files; un-usable for Max. However, I might try finding some plug-ins.
Did you check CNet for some file converters? The programs there are all virus free and you can filter your search to only give you free ones.
