Hi, i believe this game needs an additional Cash on Delivery(COD) mailing system,

Where you send an item attached to a mail,
Before the recipient can retrieve the Item,
He would have to click a button to pay, the sender, the amount requested by the sender.
The amount would then be sent to the sender for collection in his mailbox.

The pay message, requested amount and pay button has to be explicit, in order to avoid scams as much as possible
So the only problem would be PEBKAC.

Addons:
It is important to be able to fully inspect the attached item, i don't know if that is possible now.
Cost of rejecting mails must be free.

This will help trades a good deal
Thanks for reading

and also, Auction House.
Please and Thank You.

Yes to having COD mails. Just make it so that it is difficult to fake them to look like a good item is attached and all will work as it should.

Having to wait for someone to come online is not something I like doing. I would love to see this feature in our next update if possible. Thanks

@Magnus

Magnus - "It's actually Cost of Delivery, but yes."

Who exactly are you correcting? "Cash on Delivery" or "Collect on Delivery" are the proper expanded forms of the acronym "COD" (unless it's "Call of Duty", but we are not talking about a game). "Cost of Delivery" makes no sense, unless you are forcing us to pay for in-game stamps or something. The original poster is talking about the ability to do a "trade" over the mail system (I'll give you item X, if you give me Y crowns....in the mail system, that's as simple as putting item X into the attachments, and a Y crown cost in a COD line....upon accepting the item, you agree to the cost, which is deducted from you and sent back to the other player).

Furthermore the game needs a free return to sender option for all mail with attachments, or this needs to be done automatically on deletion, and attachments must be automatically returned if not accepted in reasonable time.

This system is only a little less work than a basic market though. Do the market.

I linked to this from another thread, and want to bump this and add my voice to the support for this idea.

Also, I'm not a huge fan of invites to the recipe levels, but as long as people are going to do that, this idea should be added to invites as well. Anything that reduces opportunities for scammers is great.

I like this idea. Because what happens when your trying to make a bargain with someone in the BZzar forums? You both can't play on at the same time, sometimes. This would make things a lot easier. You don't have to worry about meeting the person at the same time, just to trade a simple item.

I suspect that the auction house in development will render this one moot.

But, hey, I could be wrong....

this, need this, in arsclan

this, need this, in arsclan we routinely pick up and mail recipes for and to each other and It would be much nicer if we didn't have to rely on goodwill to get paid.
