Despite the fact that its not the best idea to move the lost duckling to another area, we decided to take care of it since the people who originally found it were going to release it while it was still a baby.
We've got fresh water and a feeder with duckling feed from a feed store.
Any tips to keep it healthy?
As far as I know it doesnt appear to be eating much (of the need) but it does nibble at just about everything.
Thanks!
Feed it. Give it water. Keep it warm. Find a feed store if you can, like ones that carry chicken and horse supplies. They usually sell ducks and supplies for them too and can give you advice, sell you proper food and vitamins , etc. And clean it clean, both the duck and its pen. You don't want it laying in it's own waste.
