So regular visitors to the entrance to the core have no doubt noticed that the flares on the ramp are gone and there is white light seeping from the core. Any thoughts on what it all could mean?

Could be anythign from a minor patch for an attempt to reduce lag, or it could be some brand new update with somethign like the swarm. I seriously don't know.

Waaaait..

Waaait.. What? I Immediately fled to the core after reading this, but i can't see any difference to the usual. The flares are still there. There is white light seeping from the cracks in the core's plating, but that's always been that way. -This is the core in the arcade.

I Haven't checked the KoA core. Did you perhaps mean that core? Because i didn't visit that one.

Of course the flares are gone

Of course the flares are gone in the KoA core, the flares were placed by whatsherdualwield's squad and as far as KoA is concerned you are only the second knights to reach the Core after the alpha squad, hence no knights to place the flares.

Knights don't go to the core after King of Ashes. KoA is a mission. It returns one to haven.

A knight has to run Fire Storm Citadel via the Arcade mode to visit the core.

The changes down there are intriguing.

You haven't played the mission yet then, because you do visit the Core after beating Vanaduke, /then/ go back to Haven.

Another carrot on the stick

Another carrot on the stick called "hope for core will open" that keeps some players from quiting this game (for lack of content) and in meanwhile spending $$$.

Keep hoping for core to open, play, spend $$ for CE and wait for something that will never come.

Hope is first step to disappointment.

Asukalan, your so overly bitter in all of your posts, I can actually taste it.

Why do you even come here?

I truly hope you are not this disheartened and depressed in your actual life.

It's just sad.

I am actually waiting for the next update, for both laughing and crying. Most likely Asukalan asumes the worst, while I am just cautiously pessimistic.

Oh, wait, so this is all a misunderstanding? The OP just thought the core model changed when he visited the KoA core?

Well, that's a bit of a let-down. I Thought something did change. D:

Would someone mind posting pictures? I mean, like seriously? It's impossible for anyone to participate in this thread if they can't see pics and they are too lazy to go into SL.

@Michaelb

Nothing has changed.

The OP just thought the core changed because the core area looks slightly different in the end of the KoA mission.

Furthermore, the core is sometimes considered a "spoiler"- Posting spoilers on SK forums is against forum rules, anyway.
