I know I can put this in the spiral knights section of the steam fourms, but it's dead. How much space appoxomateley would SK+ steam, hoping it would be under 4 GB so it can fit on my flash drive, and are we authorized to download a second copy of steam, due to having multiple accounts?

It's just shy of 1 GB with Steam+SK. You can have as many copies of the Steam client as you want, and as many accounts as you want. You can even log different accounts into different clients. It doesn't matter.

Yeah, there is no limit to how many machines you can download and run steam on, however, you will have to deal with security questions when you switch from one to the other.
I used to run steam off a flash drive in a hacked manor (without installation), however, there was a steam update which put a stop to this. I don't think you will be able to install steam to a flash drive on one computer and then use it on another computer (unless somebody knows a work-around that I do not).
I have run SK off a flash drive before by grabbing the game files and the Java files before though. Also, you can run a Steam account without steam running by going to the SK webpage & logging into your steam account. Then launch SK from the browser and select the facebook login option. Facebook login just checks to see if you are logged into SK in your browser, so it works for if you are logged into Steam in the browser as well.
I thought steam by itself was over 2 gigs these days though, but I don't know I have not looked at a clean install of Steam by itself in a long time.
It is definitely less than 4 GB for Steam and Spiral Knights. Not sure about the second part of the question but I doubt you would have any problem downloading a second copy of steam.
