This is not really a question but I thought I would make my first post on these forums here.

Hi !

My avatar name is Red-Rascal (this is a posting account) and I've been playing SK for almost exactly 1 month now. I enjoy the game quite a lot and there seems to be a pretty nice community from those that I've met.

I grew up with video games and am intrigued by the implications -- social, economic, etc -- of massive gaming and its future. My background is in design and economics (sort of a weird combo) and I am working on a piece on virtual economics alongside my dayjob. Suffice it to say that that enables me to write off gaming as "research" (yeah right). I also have had game-design related side projects for much of my life, contributing to different (albeit small) projects from virtual card games to browser-based RPGs. I guess there are other details that I could share but they aren't especially relevant to SK so I will leave off there.
