So, it has been (or had been) stated in the arenas that knights who proceed to the next stages shall reap more rewards. Since the balancing of crowns and heat was applied to all levels, the arena was not excluded, which means that if you go to all the stages in the arena, you would get the same amount of cr and heat like any levels.
So, what's the point of having arenas around anymore? Just pointing this out in terms of the rewards, not the exceptional mode of battle it provides.
(I know that if arenas would give more cr and heat like it was, players would go to missions which have arenas and keep farming cr at way. Then, is it okay if we somehow only adjust this in arenas that are in the arcade gates?)
And this is just a suggestion, I never mean to force anyone to apply this practically. If you have anything you don't understand, or you think that we should clear up some misconceptions, then don't hesitate. I'm all ears :)
Well, reap means to gain, correct?
Then each stage allows you to reap more rewards, because there's more treasure boxes at the reward zone, meaning that there's a higher chance to get more coins. If they really did make it equal in every aspect (Including monsters somehow dropping less loot as you progress, due to the larger spawn), then there's still the case of gaining more total crowns and heat.
Going through only the first stage will get you less crowns and heat than going through the entire thing, meaning you reaped more rewards from the arena(s). If you mean it as though going throughout the whole arena gives you the same amount of crowns as a normal level (Which I doubt, they couldn't possibly give out less, unless I've been failing to see that everything is a bronze coin or something), then I'm okay with that. There's the whole bonus of invaluable combat experience, there's little to no technique that you can't use in a arena (Besides maybe run away for your life, but then again, kiting)
