I'm not so sure if the developers would support fireworks specifically for Independence Day, since it's specific to just one country (the United States of America). In the past we've had Spiral Knights events for things that are a little more widespread across several cultures (Halloween/All Saints' Day/Fall Harvest and Lunar New Year). I could maybe see usable fireworks happening in Spiral Knights as a general summer thing (I know at least a few cultures light fireworks in the summer), just not as an Independence Day thing.
I made an idea like that a while back were there is rainbow gun and bomb. Bomb explodes and if you get hit by red you are on fire and green is poison e.t.c. and makes a pillar that disappears. The gun fires rainbows and same idea. Rainbow armor would be fun!
