A week of the cake hunting event is quite short don't you think? I'm pretty sure the halloween pumpking king hunting event was much longer. I request that the event be extended a bit longer; up to the 22nd, the day before the cakes and costume helms expire would be great. Please support my request.

Took me like, a couple of hours of the first day to get 100 cake slices. Then I conveniently got 100 more just by encountering cake nests completely by accident throughout the week. And dailies.

Unfair to some people

Some people don't have the luck and energy to get the nests as others. I just feel that everyone should get the chance to find cake nests without worrying about luck taking away their prize. Some people may have had friends or guild members that helped find cake nests, others could only go hunting alone this whole time, with only 100ME a day and possibly some CE. You would still have to get 72 cakes if you done the prestige mission this time, and some people may have horrid luck and only get 3 cakes per nest meaning they would have to encouter 24 nests. You would have to be quite lucky to find 24 nests in 1 week with about 100ME a day to spend. I think that everyone should be given enough time, no matter how unlucky they are or situation they are in, to slowly make their way to the target of 100 cakes.

The anniversary prize pack isn't that impressive of a reason to keep the "celebration" going longer than it already has. However, a reason that it shouldn't be extended is that OOO gave everyone a week to acquire the cake tokens necessary to get whatever helmets they wanted - an ample amount of time by most considerations. Furthermore, you can assume there's going to be at least 80 mist spent per day by a player who actually wants these helmets, not factoring in elevator passes (leaving 20 mist to do whatever you'd like). The prestige mission grants 4 cake slices per completion for T3 prestige missions (I'm not sure if it differs based on clearance level - if so, it doesn't matter much since it only changes figures a bit). If you did the cake mission every day since the promo began, that's 28 slices, or over one quarter of the task already complete. After that, it's just random depth diving, and if you were dedicated to getting the helm, you could have kept redoing Depth 1 of the Emerald something Gate to get it since it's a Clockworks level, and gotten anywhere from 3-5 tokens off of each one.

With that in mind, if we're also assuming you only found a cake nest 50% of the time and got 3 slices per nest, you would have gotten at least 12 cake slices a day. Factor in the six days that have already passed, and had you only spent mist doing Clockwork levels, you should have 100 cake slices by now. All of these numbers are with odds being factored against you as well, meaning hypothetically speaking, if one were fortunate enough, they could have finished within the first 3 days or so. Additionally, if you were deadset on getting your tokens as well, you could have taken the crowns earned from playing those levels, bought 100 CE, and kept playing in order to get the cake helm that you wanted.

In closing, even if you only played off of mist for maybe an hour or so a day, you should've had the cake helm by now. If not, quite frankly, it's your loss and there's no real reason to keep the promo going because of a few people that were either too late or too lazy to get them while they had the opportunity to do so. You shouldn't expect an entire company to cater to the whims of a few people, and asking us to provide a reason why it shouldn't be done just kind of reflects that you don't grasp what you're actually requesting here.

you forget a few things, friend. not everyone had 50% chance of finding a cake lair. some ppl just arent lucky.
AND not everyone has the time to do lvls like crazy.
why does a halloween event last more time than SK`s anniversary?

50%?

You would have to be quite lucky getting a cake nest 50% of the time. I say that from experience in this and the halloween event. I'm saying luck shouldn't reduce peoples chances of getting the helm. Time should be given to support the worst luck and situations that some people may have so that everyone has that chance. There's always the possibility that someone may only get 0 nests in a day from 100ME used in looping clockwork levels. Thats pretty much nothing achieved in a day of the week of the event. That's a big part of the time gone for nothing. So they have to hope to make up for it in the remaining time. But why should they need to hope? Why should anyone need to loop a level to increase their chances? Aren't events supposed to be fun? If they added cake nest in every level and made a system where everyone would encounter a minimum number of nests in a dive of 100ME, then one week would be suitable. But it isn't like that. So since it isn't like that, the time should be adjusted, or rather increased to ensure enjoyment among players during the event.

Even if they extended the event, some people may have other things that keep them from getting more cake slices IRL or maybe they're just really unlucky. After another week is up, then what? You can't just keep extending the event again and again. If you're dedicated, you would have gotten the helm; many people have suggested strategies on getting the slices.

I'm not including real life as a factor

The game can't control what people do outside of it. I'm saying the event should be extended because luck and other in-game factors can hinder people's chances of getting the helm. People should have the chance to get the helm even if they are really unlucky. Moreover, events should be fun. Is it fun to spend 1 week looping the same level 10 times a day for a week? Some people do that and still don't get the helm. An time increase of a week will result in more people feeling rewarded. So why not increase the cake hunting till the day before the cake slices and hats expire? 1 week is too short for something like this.

I'm not saying the game can or should control what people do outside of it. Going on a trip with friends and family? If you find that fun, then that should take priority over getting a cake helm. And they DO have the chance to get the helm even if they are really unlucky. You can grind out Clockwork Tunnels. Is it fun? Not particularly, but if you really want that helm then you can do it. If you don't want to grind for the slices, then just don't. As to your "1 week is too short for this" argument, it seems many people believe otherwise (by that I mean all the people with the cake helms...).
I'm not saying they SHOULDN'T extend the event, I'm just saying it's not necessary.

Question

Did anyone else get 100 slices in four hours of gameplay? .. There was pretty much one cake nest per power complex level.
