I think the title says it all.
Though not meaning specifically the swords specified, but more of the alchemy paths.

Anyway, mainly it's just whether I want to freeze my enemies or stun them. I noticed that Triglav has a slight chance of causing strong freeze, while Sudaruska has a fair chance of causing moderate stun. If the status only occurs at on the charge attack, I'm not too bothered (I hardly ever bother to use it).

Another thing I noticed on the charge attacks is that the Sudaruska seems to have longer range... Is this true?

Of course if Triglav turns out better I will have to start playing Blast Network more. No, I don't do Lockdown.

So, give me your opinions!

Sudaruska is slightly safer

I personally think Triglav looks more badass, but Sudaruska's second swing has predictable knockback. If you're face-to-face with an enemy and you freeze on the second swing of the Triglav, there's nothing to stop the monster from hitting you back.

Metagenic, I may have to disagree with you there.
I have a Triglav (first 5* sword I ever really wanted), and while you are correct in saying that the freeze doesn't allow you to knock back enemies, it does stall them (it has in my experience, at least) and halt their attacks. The difference is the lack of space you get as a result. But freeze doesn't occur that often.
Mostly, it's personal preference. Triglav is a pain in the butt to acquire because you need so many krogmo coins. Suda? Not so much. Hall of heroes, boom check done.

That's my two cents on the issue. Also, correct me if I am wrong about the stalling freeze I mentioned, or if I'm just going crazy.

New charge:

If you're using charge, Triglav's charge is absolutely safe. The second hit of the charge is powerful enough to interrupt things, and if it freezes, then you get a free charge again.

I'm pretty sure Triglav's second slash freezes, but I don't think I ever see Sudaruska pull a status on normal hits.

Also, their range is identical.

OK, thank's for your opinions.

I think that, although it is a pain to get, I think Triglav wins it for me. Plus it does look a lot better then Sudaruska, yay.

Plus, stun (-ing enemies) never really did that much for me as a constant shield user; the vials are far too common anyway. Freeze has always been a pain for me to use regularly, but I suppose that's just a thing I will have to learn. Anyway, it just gives me another excuse to get out of people begging me to help them on a mission! ("I'm in Blast Network - can't talk; don't want to exit.")

The freeze is awful, and is almost never good for you. Get Suda if you plan on winning. Go with triglav to be a unique flower.

actually, triglav can do more

actually, triglav can do more dmg than suda ( thawing damage), but can turn into a pain in the behind for 2 reasons:
frozen giant lichen colony thorn roots and frozen enemy in lockdown.
as to the rest, it will just cancel the attack unless it is like 1 second from happening (remember always to use charge distance)

Firstly I see you are a regular forum-er, so I should disregard all you say for no reason what-so-ever.
Anyway, freeze is almost completely useless for me, but it does look a lot better and being a 'unique flower' defeats any reason for actual stats. (Proto Sword beats Caliber any day.)
Obviously you already knew that.
(^^ Sarcasm! ^^)

I suppose it's just about style for these ones... The thing about freeze and not being able to move/turn but still attack isn't that bad unless it's on slimes (as they have 360° range). Just move out the way.

Did freeze have a thaw damage? Never knew that.

I don't ever use swords on Giant Lichen Colonies because of the constant need to put up my shield. Run around in circles shooting random bullets in random directions randomly!

Oh, but as a side note, does stun/freeze only occur on the charge attacks, or also on normal swings?

The difference

The difference in the two are stun and freeze. You'd basically be picking to choose slow down you opponents or stop them in their place.

Another thing. Stun has a problem. One it doesn't last long, two it sometimes doesn't show attack animations and three it sometimes speeds up a monster's attack.

Whereas freeze is as it says and you can use a charge again on the frozen victims.

Triglav would be good, but there are tokens to collect.
