So, let's discuss energy.
You know, energy is pretty annoying at times, but its not too bad. That's not what this topic is about.
This topic is about energy limitations in certain situations. You see, me and my brother share a computer. However, we both have different accounts on Spiral Knights. Each use a different e-mail.
I don't know why, but something with using the same computer seems to have caused a problem.
Let's say I get on and have 100 energy. Let's say my brother also has 100 energy. I log on, I spend, say, 30 energy, leaving me at 70. I quit the game completely. A few minutes later, my brother gets on and logs in to his account. Guess how much energy he has? 70.
So now, here I am, trying to make as many crowns as possible so I can continue crafting, and for some reason our energy is shared between accounts. The accounts are on different e-mails and everything, so why do we share energy?
Honestly, I find this a bit ridiculous. If this is some way for them to limit my playtime, then its a bit overboard. I mean, I'm not going to play on my brother's account. That gets me nowhere. Just because we use the same computer doesn't mean we should be limited.
For good? Or when I run out, will they be connected again? Would this also work if I purchase it with crowns?

The easy way to stop the automatic sharing is to purchase some CE using cashmonies (crowns will not work though I'm pretty sure crystal energy, no matter where it came from, is not shared between accounts). That'll flag your account as paid permanently and that account will be exempt from mist sharing no matter where you log in from.
So, then, even I paid for both accounts, they would still be seperate, correct?
Yeah, if you really want. You only need to pay for one to stop sharing. If you pay for both, then neither account will share mist energy with any other account, no matter where you log in.
Alright. Just making sure. Thanks a ton!
I'm not entirely sure why it's set up this way, but a quick 75 cent energy purchase will separate the accounts.
I think it's really just to stop people from gaming the system with a bunch of free accounts.
