So I'm not entirely sure if this happened during any of the recent patchs, but it would appear that the research site of Pinch of Salt mission has become more...oppressed:

Note that there were originally lots of little lichens surrounding the place before I took the shot (Guess what happened to them ;)). But yeah, I do hope this isn't a random occurrence as I first thought it was when just entering the place, because it brings a much better feeling of the camp being in troubling and needing the salt.

That screenshot in the first post... it's actually the only layout I've seen. Granted I didn't do that mission more than twice...

Huh? To be honest, that's the first time I've seen this particular layout. Almost all the others were rather the same. I guess chance just has its ways with us and makes us see one layout more than others.

I've seen that layout

Nothing new. That was the first layout I came across (back when missions first came out.) It took me a while to figure out where to put the salt, but I figured it out in time.

When I got there, the camp was in the middle, with exits to the west and east lined with salt.

Then again, mine wasn't Freeze themed.

BTW why are you using photobucket instead of steam screenshots?

Yeah, the picture you painted there for your mission is what I normally get. This version was...like once in a blue moon. It's really my first time seeing it. My luck is weird <.<.

And regarding the picture being displayed, I mildly distrust steam to appropriately display a picture when needed, as there have been times when I've been unable to view them through a link I pasted. This issue has become a lot less frequent and normally I do use steam for convenience's sake, but I thought with what I found, it might be more appropriate to post the picture on a more stable link, or at least one that I feel is, since photo bucket is primarily designed to store and display pictures and videos.
