Every item available for a limited time has been accessories and costumes for a reason. No armor, shields, or weapons have been available temporarily; they become permanent content. There will never be limited offers for items usable in combat for more than cosmetics.

We already have limited-time only accessories and costumes for that.
Unless it's a 'weapon costume'; in which case new mechanics will have to be implemented into that, and again it would be disorienting to see someone swinging a Nitronome with the range of a Troika.
And unless you can justify why you specifically want a weapon over other things, I fail to see why this should be implemented.
More importantly, I fail to see why Doomsday should be "celebrated', so to speak.

Still not valid justification for new weapons.
We had the Punkin King before, and so far the only thing he gave was accessories (indirectly through candy).
Question is, why do you want limited-edition weapons?
Are you trying to give an unfair advantage to players in LD, or give them bragging rights (which can be done through accessories anyway)?
And in case you haven't realized, Skylark is the ship that the Knights are trying to power up.
To say that there's an 'evil ship' seems invalid and out of the story's context.
