Just wondering. I have seen it before on the grey feather gear descriptions, one of the coolest looking gear I personally think, and I wonder if any spiral history buff knows about them.

Is there much story behind the Owlite Scholars?

I have tried the search bar of the forums to try and find out if this has been brought up before, but it has now apparently. In fact, the two words have never even been put together until now. So, I figure I know just about as much of them as a new player, so I will post this question in the new recruit forums incase they are eager to know as well what an Owlite Scholar is.

The owlites were an ancient

The owlites were an ancient civilization of great magician birds. They created armor that was highly resistant to elemental damage. But while they were developing this technology, they were in a war with the kats.Battle raged on and on for years. Then, the kats figured out how to use the owlites magic against them.It worked and killed them off (tho it is rumored that a few survived) and the kats, because they used the owlite magic, were killed and resurrected as the spookats.and because of the kats victory, they haunt the halls of the great owlites library.

Hmm... I wonder, were the owlite scholars like knights? Or were they flesh and blood?

Capture a still image of both

Capture a still image of both the charges and then tell me they're different birds. I'm no stranger to abusing both charges and seeing them from all angles, and as far as I'm concerned the only differences are the color and Sentenza's particle effect. The idea of them being different birds comes from perceptions of different birds being affiliated with different elements.

But they look more hawkish than owlish. Maybe they're an entirely different type of creature? Spiritual maybe?

So why would a big group of

So why would a big group of owls (like physical owls) create a hood and a poncho for themselves? You know, grey feather armor is supposedly something that they have created before being whiped out?

Maybe they aren't very good at making armor for themselves, and that is why they were wiped out by silly kats.

I am sorry... but I am not picturing "owlites" as "literal owls". Because my free to play alt is planning on using grey feather + owlite shield, I am still picturing them as somewhat the size of us, and much more human-like than you think. Flesh and blood, of course.

Plus, an owl cannot read a book. They have tons of books. Also, their bookshelves had ladders in that one mission. And the ladders matched the color of the scarlet fortresses.

So I am thinking the scholars had A. Some appendages that let them read books and B. appendages that let them use ladders as well as require the use of.

Or are these ladders ours?
