Invisible walls and teleportation :/

I'm new to Spiral Knights, have only been playing for a week now. But I find that lately(last 2days) my knight will either be unable to move(just runs on the spot or is able to move but just not to certain spots as though there is a wall) and then will suddenly either start teleporting around the screen or be dragged all over the place, this isn't due to lagging as it has happened even when I'm not doing anything.
It never seems to do this in Haven, it has only ever happened on missions(and not on every mission, even if it had happened earlier), so far it has mostly happened while in the waiting room, so it didn't waste any mist/energy, just the odd crown. But with it happening in missions now it's becoming troubling, especially when I'm suddenly moved into an attack, as it means I'll either have to leave the mission or hope it will stop(and hopefully not need to revive myself), but either way it wastes mist.

I'm not sure whether anyone else has experienced this issue or not, but I'll be grateful for any advice.

Will add PC specs, if anyone thinks that might be the cause, but it shouldn't be as my PC specs meet the requirements easily(and all drivers are up to date).

Thanks in advance for any possible help

Greetings,

What you are describing are generally symptoms of very poor network performance. When you look up in the upper right-hand corner of the screen you should see a set of connection bars. If only one red bar is showing that means you have a very low rating. Sometimes these sudden network hiccups can be caused by other users on a shared internet connection. It is best to fisrt make sure that no one else is trying to use a large amount of bandwidth first.

"It is best to fisrt make

"It is best to fisrt make sure that no one else is trying to use a large amount of bandwidth first."

It should be "It is best to first make sure that no one else is trying to use a large amount of bandwidth." Just being nit picky. :P

Anyway, you could also try making sure nothing is downloading. If you are using Steam, try offline mode. (Ok, might just not work. I don't use Steam, so I don't know.)
