I find myself in regret of exchanging tokens every now and then to sell mats for crowns, now that I'm more of a collector of other things than crowns.
So which places yield the best amount of Primal, Grim and Forge Sparks?

Royal jelly is full of primals. Well, every level must be because I always have like 3x more primals than everything else.

I know a place
I suggest the Royal Jelly kingdom. I get a lot of primal sparks there, especially in the treasure boxes after the boss.
I do the mission. I get around 3-4 in most runs. If lucky, you can get 7 tokens in a single run, which I just got 26 minutes ago.

Also the Gate with the T3
Also the Gate with the T3 Auroura isles and Construct stratas
Theres 2 arenas in strata 6 and that gate payout in a full T3 run hitting both arenas is close to 9.5k (i counted)
Very good and a change of pace from all that FSC and Jelly stuff.

Forge Sparks?
I find my self with way more Grim and Primal sparks then Forge Sparks (and I've grinded FSC more then any other boss run).
Where is better for Forge Sparks? Do I need to do ICMF or OCH for these (just guessing here)?

I don't think specific tokens drop in certain places, it's just the primal is the most common and forge the least common.

primal is certainly not the most common, if all type of tokens can be dropped in all places. I have 800+ grim, 700+ forge, but only 400+ primal and iv been running FSC for months

They are most definitely tied
They are most definitely tied into locations.
Slime/Beast = Primal
Fiend/Undead = Grim
Gremlin/Construct = Forge
Just go fight an area that contains such things, and you'll get the tokens

Clockwork tunnels, danger rooms, and arenas
danger rooms are a rich source of sparks. You can probably find them in arenas as well.

Good Spark Places:
Danger/Challenge rooms, Arenas, and Treasure Vaults.
Anywhere with lots if treasure boxes, so basically boss missions and treasure vaults.
