I've found that guns are very effective against bombers in LD, so if your base is surrounded by bombers whip out your gun and start blasting!
Honestly, I don't know why every one is so uptight about bombers
I discovered an easy way to kill bombers in LD!

But yes, Neodasus was just pointing out that this strategy has been around for a very long time.
This is one of the reasons why people like gunners on their teams.

I'm going to have to call [lies] on this. I haven't seen ANYONE imply that "Bombers" are overpowered [I recall the opposite, in fact]. Anyone who believes they are deserves to be dragged out into the street and beaten.

It sounds like...
The idea that bombers are overpowered may refer to a comment Nick made regarding an upcoming balance change. He said that after reaching full charge, getting hit would not cause you to lose the charge. While this would seem to apply across the board, it obviously has the greatest impact on bombers trying to dodge shots as they charge a bomb.
But at the moment, shock bombs are definitely the most annoying. The effect they give off is not visible enough in my opinion.

Well I Take Out Bombers Easily When i get sick of the spamming n go switch my reconer set to striker n go full out striker rage i killed almost every bomber on the team atleast 5 times
