Hi guys, just looking for some suggestions
I currently have an ash-tail set with high curse resistance on both cap & coat, at this point looking to upgrade this set into a 5*. Just not sure if skolver is the right choice to upgrade it to as I know the UVs will be most likely be of more use with a snarbie (UFSC.) However, the flip side being having to make another 5* set from scratch (in which case what Armour would you guys recommend) to take through to the SL.

Well, I know for sure but, just with the faust, the curse reduction is 20 seconds, and i don't know if this really is relevant but i have never had 2 'weapons cursed' ive only ever had 1 weapon and one vial cursed. Also, thank you for the advice :)
I dont know why but people always overlook the usefulness of curse resistance in LD against GF users
Max + Low (i.e. High + Med) is enough, actually. (Used to be that just Max was enough.)
On PvP, if the enemy regularly connects the full combo, curse is the least of your problems.
Curse UV is close to useless in the first place. Here is why : there is 3 situations it's somewhat useful, but it's not worth it :
- if you are using Gran Faust charge and want to be cursed for less time and get less weapons cursed. Problem is, Gran Faust charge is too long in the first place, you're better off using normal attacks, and you need too much curse resist to reduce the number of weapons cursed.
- in graveyards, because phantoms can curse. There is at most 4 respawning phantoms in a graveyard, and they are not that hard to deal with in the first place.
- in UFSC, and I think it's what you are interested in. The major source of curse is zombie breath (you shouldn't get hit by Slag Guards that much, if you do curse will be the last of your problems). But that breath do no damage at all. It just curses you. That means if you get the wrong weapons cursed, you can just walk again in the breath to reroll your curse. That means there is no use getting curse resistance. And once again, I'm not even sure with 2 high you will get one weapon less cursed ...
I would just do as if there was no UV on your armor.
