for the second time in the past 2 weeks, I feel as if I got cheated out of in game extras affter spending money in the energy depot.

First let me say that I really enjoy playing Spiral Knights, and spending money in the energy depot is how i show my support.

I am being getting ripped off for buying too much energy! I made a large purchase on the Third of this month, and the very next day the Anniversary patch is released. At first, I felt RIPED OFF because I bought energy 1 day early, and was going to miss out on the Free anniversary prize pack. So, I spent another $9.95 to ensure that i didn't miss out. I even bought another pack after that.

Now another Patch and more free goodies for thoes who waited to buy energy this month.

I got screwed and the worst part is I am willing to spend more money... but i reached my limit already.

Three Rings and Sega must not care about keeping customers happy.

I am going to list my transaction from the first of this month and I want to warn everyone who is thinking about making a purchase in the energy depot.

DON'T BUY ENERGY UNLESS YOUR GETTING SOMETHING EXTRA WITH EVERY PURCHASE!!!!

You can't blame the company for your own problems. It's not like they were waiting for you to buy ce then make you feel bad by ripping you off.

You wanted the ce early, you deal with it when you realize that if you just waited, you could've gotten something nice for it.

I may as well ask OOO for compensation every time I use the market to buy ce, then the price drops. It's nobodies fault, at the most, it's the users fault for not waiting. At the MOST.

Also: Send a email to support about hitting your limit. They MAY extend it for you. Idk, I'm not P2P.

What did you want? A note on the energy depo: Don't buy ce today cause we will release new content tomorrow!

Thats life dude don't freak cause you spent a little money. You should been saving it for something better in the first place

I'll just C/P what I said on the other thread (which you should move to the Graveyard, since it's off-topic): "If you're not in desperate need of CE, only buy when there's a promo or discount going on. Hurrdurr." Come on, it's not like you didn't know there'd be more promos.

You want all the bonus promotions to be retroactive?

That makes no sense on any level. Do you want them to be handing out Rose regalia to everyone too because it was handed out as a promotion?

The promotions are there for the very reason to make it more of an incentive to buy more energy. In fact the energy you get is kind of a bonus perk if you ask me. They could just as easily do like WoW does and sell the stuff straight out for cash if they wanted.

Free-to-play does not mean we give you every thing for free so you can play it. It means that we aren't going to charge you for the basic game, but if you want all the extras you have to pay for it. You've spent money on the game and supported it, but now you feel like you've wasted your money because they are selling new bonus stuff? You can get mirrored boxes from the prize wheels that are even more readily available now than ever.

If you don't feel that the money you've spent has been for things of value then wait until there is a promotion to spend money. I could understand feeling that way once that you spend money and the next day a patch comes out with a promotion, but the next time you either felt the CE was worth more at the time than you do now or you were just impatient waiting for the next promo. Either way you obviously felt it was worth it at the time and now you're just having buyers remorse.

easy solution. Stop buying energy when there are no promos currently running.

The company isn't screwing you, because if they back-offer 1 day, the people who bought 2 days early will feel screwed. The process will repeat until they give it to everyone. The cut off date was the day it went live. Yea, it might suck, but no one forced you to buy when there were no running promos.
