Hello can anyone tell me how i put my guild page in the wiki page with all the other guilds?Thanks...
How i put my guild page in the wiki page with all the other guilds?
Specifically, it is the addition of the guild infobox template as detailed in the link in the post above that will add it to the guilds category.
I dont know so good english and i cant understand...my guild is Bombheads can you move it there equinox? Thanks a lot for your time...
Thorfinns, Equinox cannot do what you ask, because there is nowhere to "move" your page.
You need to go to the page that Sir-Didymus cited. That page explains how to add the GuildInfo template to your page. Add this template to your page. If you can't figure out how to fill in the parameters in the template, then examine the wiki markup of any other guild, to see how they do it.
Once you have added the GuildInfo template to your guild page, your guild will automatically appear in the list of guilds, because the GuildInfo template includes the [[Category:Guilds]] tag.
wich link do i click on the top when i log in to make a guild wiki page. When i click on my name i cant change the title to my guild name. I checked on the link on the top but it doesnt show how to make a guild page. Please reply telling me how to make a "guild page'.Thank u
Sohaibx, follow the link given in post #1 above. Right now the page is a little sketchy on details, but I will try to improve it over the next hour, to give complete directions.
Edit: I have finished my edits, to improve that wiki page. Follow the instructions there now.
Thank you very much. I much appreciate your asisstance.
Ok I have another question. When i put the show/hide template and i hit save, the show hide template covers the guildinfo template on the side please tell me how to fix it or change the bar size. Here is the link. http://wiki.spiralknights.com/X_Calibur_(Guild)
Thank you.
This seems to be a "bug" in how the wiki lays out these elements. Basically, the Showhide template does not sense the width of the page that's available to it very well.
I don't know of a fix, but here's a workaround: Place the wiki code "{{clearall}}" (without the quotation marks) somewhere on the page, such as right after the GuildInfo template, or at the end of your Guild Summary section. Everything after the {{clearall}} tag is pushed down, past the bottom of your guild info box. You can experiment with placing it in various locations.
The drawback is that it makes a lot of empty space on your page. As you fill in your Guild Summary, this might not matter much. You can also try {{clearright}} and {{clearleft}}, to clear floating elements on the right (such as your info box) or the left.
Thanks, it worked. But now I gotta think of a super long summey. Ah well its ok.
Does anyone notice this or is it just my laptop?.....As the game updates and adds more content the varios loading screens are taking longer to load.
Im just worried cause i dont want spiral knights to be any laggier than it is since the winterfest.

sorry i clicked save two times by accident.:P
I'm glad I could help. I haven't noticed longer loading times. Good luck.
I need to know how to put an image thats on my computer to the guild page. Inside a show hide template. Could u please help.
Thank u.
There are two tasks here: getting your image onto the wiki server, and telling your wiki page to display that image.
On the left side of any wiki page, you'll see an "Upload file" link. Use that to upload your image file. (It's much like how you uploaded your guild logo.) Give your file a descriptive name, and remember the name that you've given it.
Do you know how to place that image on a wiki page? If not, here's what you do. You find a wiki page that has an image on it, such as In the Jelly's guild page. You Edit their code, to see what they did to place their image. Then you mimic their code in your code. (You do not save your edits to their page, of course. You close their page without saving it.)
Do you know how to use a Show/Hide template? I don't. If I wanted to find out, I'd use the same process as above: Find a wiki page that uses it, and mimic that page's code in mine.
Good luck. Let me know if you do not succeed.
thank u. i found out how to put in show hide template.
do view my guild page and give me any suggestions on improving it.

Well, I love how your guild members must know the monster vulnerability/resistance table. I'm always on about that.
In my opinion, you should use Show/Hide less. I don't think it does anything good for you in your "How to Join" section. The text is so short that the Show/Hide box takes up as much room as the text that it's hiding.
Also, you've written a lot of stuff in angle brackets --- for example, "<Recruit>" instead of "Recruit". I'd remove the angle brackets.
You've done some good work. Have fun building your guild.
My guild is in default since someone bought an expansion without asking. Can i remove expansions.
I don't know, but I doubt it.
We're veering away from Wiki Editors subject matter. If you want to ask questions about running a guild or playing the game, try the General Discussion forum or the New Recruits forum. Many more people read those forums, so you'll get more answers, too.
