Rare Vendor?

Alright so this might just be me getting excited or something, but I did a run in the Dark Serpent gate just underneath Moorcroft and when I finished I ran into the Traveling Merchant Basil selling thse seemingly rare recipes:
- Horned Owlite Shield Recipe
- Miracle Cloak Recipe
- Miracle Hood Recipe
- Rock Jelly Helm Recipe
- Rock Jelly Mail Recipe
- Rock Jelly Shield Recipe
- Sinister Skelly Mask Recipe
- Sinister Skelly Shield Recipe
- Sinister Skelly Suit Recipe
I've heard the Horned Owlite Shield is supposed to only be a rare drop... is that because it's recipe needs unavailable items or something? Or have I stumbled across a fortune?
I purchased the Horned Owlite Shield Recipe, Miracle Cloak Recipe, and Miracle Hood Recipe because I like the look of the preceding Magic stuff and am currently working on my 4-star Equip set. I'm fearing that I may not be able to make my armour, however.

Ah, that sounds alright. I'm guessing it's the Ironwood that is not yet released then, as I've seen all the other items. Do you have any idea when it will be released?

Those aren't really rare
Those aren't really rare stuff, but it is some what uncommon.
Then again it's all about luck.
The Horned Owlite Shield requires a material that is not released yet
However, the other items can still be created
