Crowns in Tier 3

Wasn't sure where to put this; into the Suggestions forum it goes.

I did a Tier 3 terminal run about an hour ago - 4 depth levels, including a Treasure Vault level and an Aurora Isles Jelly Farm level, and I emerged at the terminal a shade over 2k crowns richer. After the Wolver Den level alone, the first of the four, I only gained around 200 crowns. I appear to earn more doing T2 terminal runs than T3; on average I earn about 4-5k crowns (all numbers based on solo runs).

Is this intended? Should we be earning less in T3 than T2 content?

Are you comparing similar

Are you comparing similar levels? Like, I get more crowns on an L1 arena than an S4 deconstruction zone. (But deconstruction zones give an incredibly low number of crowns in my experience.) [Kudos for specifically checking odd strata only. Four random data points {as opposed to non-random jelly castle} I collected suggests that you get about twice as many crowns from the second stratum in a tier than the first, which would further skew data.]

As far as treasure vaults go, I consider those good if I get more than 500 crowns off of them. Those are mostly there for the chance of getting tokens or equipment, I'd say.

Devs doesn't want rage

Devs doesn't want rage quitters. So majority of rewards goes to tier 2. Devs assume players who go to tier 3 are just doing it for the fun of it, not the rewards.
Or whatever...
that is my analogy. =/

The point of tier 3 seems to

The point of tier 3 seems to be rare mats. That and Vanaduke. That's pretty much their entire point. Rare mats and Vanaduke. For pure crowns and heat tier 2 is better and easier for the most part.

It's pretty straight forward, harder monsters, harder levels, more levels to get to the bottom of the tier, it only makes sense that you get higher level materials, and more crowns from it, the fact that you aren't getting the latter makes no sense. Crown intake should be scaled accordingly, if they aren't already.

Barring floors with unusually

Barring floors with unusually high/low crown generation [challenge rooms, arenas, graveyards, vaults] everytime I've done S6 I've come out with a higher average per floor than S4. The difference is far smaller than the S2->S4 jump, but still seems to be there. S1/3/5 on the other hand, I consider myself lucky if they cover energy.

.

I've noticed that the four floors after Basil give you a lot more crowns than the four floors before Basil, on every tier. So terminal runs are usually less profitable than full runs.

There is no reason why tier 3

There is no reason why tier 3 shouldn't be giving more crowns than tier 2 than beats the purpose of making the tier harder even if its just mats. Tier 3 should be giving relatively more crowns with mats and the bonus of vanaduke
