I've been grinding RoF for a while..
But then I saw one of the forum posts that RJP can give a better payout even when skipping a boss...
I have these Sets...

Gunslinger(3*)
Gunslinger Hat and Sash
Voltech and Shadowtech Alchemer MK II
Heart Pendant

Should I get a Calibur so I can spam charge attack all the way and win easily? :3

Maybe... yes, but it's wise

Maybe... yes, but it's wise to plan your blows as well.

Oh well :D

Ah well, so be it.

I'm making it turn into Tempered Calibur tomorrow.

When to position your charge? In the middle of the crowd?

I might do Snarbolax for the Bristling buckler(5 left so 2 runs will do..)

Then heat, and yeah..

Remember

that the charge attack has your knight take 1 step forward before slashing. You'll have to position yourself so that the step takes you into the middle of an enemy group. If you release the charge while in the middle you'll step out before slashing, after which you're likely to take hits.

That's good.

Yes, that would be my main approach in RJP.

Before/After Charge:

E = Enemy
K = Knight

Before After
[E][E][E] [E] [E] [E]
[E][K][E] ----> [E] [K] [E]
[E][E][E] [E] [E] [E]

For More Clarification: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7fHwvmpJTM is a Calibur Demo.

Also! Since My OP won't allow

Also! Since My OP won't allow me to post longer well posts... I have a Swordmaster Set..

Dusker Set
Horned Owlite Shield
Heart Pendant...>.>
Calibur
Night Blade
I have a Swift flourish in case to be a Dusker clone in PvP T2 Clone wars.

Is heating the equipment to level 10 significant?

Very much so. Always heat

Very much so. Always heat your items to level 10 for full effect if you plan on using them.

Well.

Not if you have the resources to upgrade at heat lvl 5 (for 3*-->4*). (T2 PvP excepted.)

Also, Horned Owlite Shield? Where's your Twisted Targe?

>.> My buckler is not upgraded yet...

I'll heat them up through RoF I think (IT IS easier, but It wastes 10 energy since RJP has the same payout skipping the boss..)

BTW, Is the Arena the source of the Crowns and Heat, I am having a bad time dealing with them (especially the last room, Turret chaos.)

Or I'll just keep repeating the Garden of Goo till I get the hang of it.

Arenas tend to give more heat, due to generally more enemies.

Also, the RJP generally pays more than RoF because of the boss tokens IMO. Once you got the token gear that you like, 15 tokens easily becomes some nice 3500 crowns in your pocket (buy the 3* jelly armor and then sell to vendor).

you need around 50 energy to get around 15 tokens. If you consider those energy are 50 CE, 3.5 k crown is mainly for covering the cost you go there.

Wait how are you getting 50 energy? From my experience, its about 30 energy for about 2500 crowns, which is a net gain per run. Also, mist energy, 3 runs per day is about 2 hours if you are really good. That seems reasonable for someone with a life outside of SK (like school).

@Traev: Poopsie is talking

@Traev: Poopsie is talking about just the boss level by itself I think, and what you get for doing it a certain number of times versus the energy cost.

@Poopsie: Of course, if you want gear that you have to get with jelly tokens, that would make it worth it.
