Steam Trade got a small face lift these days, but Spiral Knights was removed from it today. Wonder if SK decided to drop support for it or maybe its a Steam problem with their programmers.

That would be totally amazing if OOO would cease all this pathetic steam support and finally switch to support the official client on official website and finally recall that there is still kongregate client.

Asukalan, there's one problem with this. If they want to drop steam support, they need to offer a steam-to-official-client migration service. I'd be quite pissed off if all of my gear, accessories, and things went down the drain just because of dropped support.
Heck, I think all they would need to do is have someone log into the website via steam, then immediately it brings them to a page saying: "Pick a new username and password!" The information entered will replace their Steam ID on the server, allowing them to go back to the official client. Obviously, it will NEVER be this simple, but I'm sure that Three Rings could do it if they were to drop Steam.

In lieu of that, make it so that steam is not a REQUIREMENT to use/hear voice chat.
And kongregate doesn't deserve SK. I mean it's not a bad site, but SK is way too big, Kong is just for casual games.

Steam seems to have a rather annoying issue with SK where it does not want to let them log in... a big enough issue that it is almost once a week that you will find a topic on the first page going "Not being able to connect through Steam". I know of several players that have openly stated they wish they hadn't connected their account to Steam for that reason. I would create one so I could get Portal and Portal 2 for effectively "free". I am sure a lot of players would actually connect their account to Steam if it was more reliable with SK... the problem is it's not, and we rather like having something that works.
As for the voice chat, Steam is not the only way to use/hear voice chat. There's Mumble, Vent, at least one other I can't remember the name of at the moment. They all seem to have pretty much the same features. Steam just makes it so you can talk to anybody in your party that also has Steam, which is not necessarily a good thing... nothing like hearing somebody cursing every time he dies or calling everybody else a noob to enhance your gaming experience.
Oh, and sorry the Steam trade is messed up for you guys. I hope they fix it soon for you.

It's working fine for me ... or at least I can still see my inventory. It's completely in the wrong order, but that's a different problem.
