Umm. So, what does 1 or 2 or 3 variant ticket do? The wiki seems doesn't say anything about it.

I've seen posts about it before. Evidently, if you are looking for a specific UV, you want to use 1 variant tickets to maximize your chances of getting the correct UV per crows spent.

Don't bother buying variant tickets. They are only used for 2 reasons:
1) Trophy equipment (For example: Proto gear with triple UVs)
2) Hunting for a specific UV
Neither of which are worth pursuing unless you are at the end of the game, with some deep pockets.

"Purchasing Unique Variant Tickets" section
The 1, 2, 3 Variant ticket lets you have a unique variant in your item(100% :D )
Obviously 1 variant ticket gives you only 1 variant
And 2 uv variant ticket gives you 2 variants simultaneously
and the same as the third one, but THREE.
