Surprised this thread hasn't been made, IIRC, at least since summer 2011.
What about for you guys?

You refer to real-life "dollars" as "crowns" on a regular basis.
True story.

You know you play too much SK when the movie your watching is almost "10 mist energy" long, instead of a little over two hours long...
13.2 min. time increments... all day.
You know you play too much spiral knights when you try to buy goods with what you insist is your "energy".
you know your addicted when you drop a M80 in front of you like a blast bomb
...you call every cute bird a snipe.
...you kill an animal, but are surprised that they don't just become a purple puff of smoke and drop loot.
...you pass out, then a. wonder why someone didn't just give you half their HP, or b. you wonder why you weren't warped back to Haven.
...you are surprised that the elevators will let you use them for free without needing an elevator pass before hand.
...you think it is strange that you hear what people say when you 'should' be reading what they say in a chat bubble above their head.
..compare weapons and armor in other games to sk weapons and armors
..instinctively push the shield key when in danger in a game without shielding
..instinctively push the attack key when watching a sk video and the player is supposed to attack
..refer to color combinations as "toasty, military, dusky etc."
..aaaand thats all i can remember
all true stories that happened to me

It's worded a bit differently, but they're the same.
when you un-sub WoW & switch over payments to SK & then gets fraps just for SK. all that's left is to change desktop wallpapers & throw away all these blizzard clothes & buy SEGA clothing.
@Coatl
Well then, let's un-ruin it ^.^
Back on topic!
I know I've played too much SK...
-Like Sev, I refer to currencies as crowns all too often
-I keep pressing my left-shift key (my shield key) to "shield-bump" enemies. Most notable example was trying to do that to a Creeper in another Java game called Minecraft (as if no-one's ever heard of it >.>)
-My Youtube recommended list contain at least one SK related video
-I unknowingly refer to cobble as cobalt (Cobalt Stone, Cobalt generator and again Minecraft related).
...You take candy from every Stranger you find.
...You try to figure out how to unbind stuff to sell in a Garage Sale.
...You wait for midnight to see a gremlin and ask him to roll a Freeze Resistance UV on your jacket.
...You wonder why you have to drive home instead of just clicking the Return to Haven button.
...You refer to playing outside as 'The Clockworks'.
...Your friend asks which playlist you want to play in Halo/CoD, you respond 'Lockdown'; then wonder why Auto-Aim isn't working.
...You stare at every turtle you see, thinking "Weren't those guys patched out?"
...You refer to terrorists as "Bombheads".
...You tell your friends you are worn out of playing Football, only to ask them if they can tab you.
...You name your pet dog 'Snarby'.
Yup that's all I can think of. These ones were made up, if it wasn't obvious.

...when in Minecraft you keep pressing enter to chat instead of "t," wish you could shield bump creepers, try to kite skeletons, and think about holding TNT above your head like a bomb before placing it.
@Nexassassin: So you play too. :D
You widen your eyes as much as possible every time you look at your Knight.
Your friend tells you a joke, and you laugh with the same animation as the Knights do.
You throw a grenade right at your feet, much to the horror of your sergeant/commanding officer. (this is clearly made up, no one in their right mind would do this kind of thing...right?)
If your friend asks you to borrow your pen, you say you cant give it to him since its bound to you.
You know you've been playing too much LD when you expect to get Strike boost whilst walking in RL.
You get hurt and frantically look for heats to heal you. ;~;
You wake up in the morning and wonder if your outfitted costume is appropriate for a class presentation, and think using a BTB as a pointer is a good idea.
when you have SK game music on your ipod.
When half of your computer's memory is SK recordings
When you start posting SK pictures on Facebook
When all your friends play because you talk about this game so much
when somebody says divine/valkyrie/angelic you immediately think of the sword/armor set
when you steal people's identities to pay for CE (that one is made up...probably)
When you know all the different forum numbers by heart.
Or tell everyone you want a gran Faust for your birthday.
You know you play too much SK when someone offers you a toothpick and you're disappointed that it isn't shiny.
You know you play too much SK when you hesitate to give someone your pencil. It's clearly bound, right?
-When you get beaten up by the school bully, then frantically (but weakly) search for the Revive button.
-When you go to the hospital and try and give half your life to everyone.
-When you wonder why the hospital doesn't simply have Blue Heart pads to cure all illnesses, and Heart pads to restore people to full health.
-When you see a mountain of jelly, whip out a hockey stick then wonder why it isn't attacking you.
-When your mum hands you a toothpick to clean your teeth, you ask her if it has ASI.
-When you make a Pendant in the shape of a heart and think it'll increase your HP.
-When you see your friend in a furry cap/coat and you tell him that his Wolver gear looks good on him.
-When you mail Microsoft $50,000 every time you change your font colour.
-When someone gives you a hammer, and you reject it, saying it doesn't have an upgrade path.
-When your gun runs out of ammo and you flip it in your hand, expecting it to be reloaded.
-When you see something new and wonder if it's unreleased content.
You know you've been playing too much Spiral Knights when...
#10 - You "shield cancel" on reflex to attack faster...in other games...even if they don't have that option.
#9 - Pink Jello reminds you of Spiral Knights.
#8 - The first thing you do when shooting in another game is look for a "Lock UI option" or hit "Q" because you accidentally clicked a menu option.

#4 - You start accessorizing your gear.
#3 - It's the only reason you haven't uninstalled the Steam Client.

>sk dreams allnight errynight
>"give me some ce" "what?!" "i mean water :|"
When your idea of relaxation is hanging out in front of an auction house. ;)
You know you have played too much Spiral Knight when you watch the movie Gremlins and make up a fanfic about how the gremlins from that movie evolved into SK Gremlins. Also their growls sound a lot alike! (true story)
You know you've been playing too much SK when you use '/' infront of any 'action' word or sentence in casual online chat.
E.g.
Dude, that was dry.
/facepalm

...you draw the energy symbol as short for energyand the cr symbol as short for crowns
When you build a perfect replica of the warmaster rocket hammer and then chase your cat with it.
When you stare at the auction house while you wait for your must to regenerate from 0 to 10.
When you check the forums every five minutes.
When you set your jello in fire to make sure its dead before you eat it.
When you go to a store to ask them if they have and health capsules.
When you walk up to a stranger and ask if they sell recipes, trinkets, or gear.
You try to shield in other games besides SK
Now, I can barely play Brawl Busters because I'm trying shield, when you can't even shield in that game :I
When You have mostly all the 5* gear in the game.
You play too much SK when, like certain people from a certain widely-ridiculed guild:
- You sacrifice school, work, or your social life in favour of keeping your guild number one in the LD leaderboards at all times. Every week. For the last 9 weeks.
- You waste a ridiculous amount of real life money into buying CE, just to get game-breaking UVs or to use for CE-revivals in order to be "the best" on a silly mini-game called Lockdown.
When you have dreams about LD 2 diferent times and wake up thinking "that was awsome".
Every time I use a melee weapon IRL, I always use the same swing patterns found in Spiral Knights.
... Why must this game influence me ._.
... you are outside on a beautiful sunny day and you start to hum the Haven tune. You then proceed to visualize the the area in front of the fountain in your mind, complete with your character, NPCs, and random player characters running about. You then begin to hear other player's footsteps though your "background music" as they pass by "your character."
...yes, I've done this several times.
1)When you look at a paper bag and see FSC and wonder why in the world would the grocery store have Firestorm Citadel on their bag!?
2)When Mom makes homemade jello, it's cut in cubes and you instantly think Jelly Cubes of SK.
True story's.

True story. I play World of Tanks.
I see a really slow artillery shell flying towards my E-100 (one of the largest, and easiest to hit targets in the game for artillery), and i know the enemy team has a really huge artillery piece.
My shield button is Spacebar.
Spacebar is the stop button in that game.
...it would've missed if i had kept driving.
You know you've played too much if your chihuahua reminds you of a gremlin.
It happens to me all of the time.
lol i still remember a LD dream, it was forest with an ancient ruin in the middle complete with points, my GF, and enemies in a angled top-down view. Only reason i remember the ruins is because it became a survival where i had to fight these people(distinctly human) for some reason. It got kinda crazy. It was awesome. I think i got beaten by their first guy or was getting before i woke up... still best dream ever.
I actually changed my Minecraft chat map key to ENTER because I play Spiral Knights so much.
... you agree with all of this and still think you do not have a problem.
You know you play too much spiral knights when you go to a vending machine and wonder why you got a coca-cola instead of your Divine Avenger.
