You know at times when you join a random group, or decide to join a group of friends without asking- Then when you arrive at the level, you realized that you wasted 10CE because that group pretty much finished the whole level?

I say, players should get a refund for instances like that. Players shouldn't be charged 10CE if the original party finished 99% of the level without you and you joined at the wrong time without knowing.

hell yes

Yes plz. Either that, or make me wait until they finish that level. I don't mind waiting until the next one.

Uh

Actually, you should only be able to join a random party if they haven't played past half the level already. So if you have experienced this it's probably a bug in a level.

Joining friend unannounced at an elevator is not the devs fault.

I agree with Pupu. You should

I agree with Pupu. You should really ask your friends before just popping in. Esp. because if they're your friends, you shouldn't have any problems with being like "/t Friend1 Hey, can I join you?" and waiting for a response. >.>

I personally get kind of annoyed when my friends decide to just pop in unannounced. I think it's a tad rude, honestly, because if I'm in at the last area of an arena, where the loot is, and one of my friends just pops in, they get to collect on the loot without having to have gone through the fighting. And if they can see I'm in an arena, the reason they're joining, most likely, is to get the loots in the first place (even if they intend on helping me with the fighting, they are still essentially using me for ease of access, and that makes me kind of upset because I worked hard to get to that level).

Well why should it really

Well why should it really upset you? You left the party unlocked, that means that you want people to join. You don't lose anything other than materials when they join you, tokens, crowns and heat are shared, and two knights against the world is safer than one.

Because I duo with my

Because I duo with my boyfriend, and I usually go ahead of him, and he joins me. So if I lock it, I'd have to invite him, and it's a bit inconveniencing. Before you say boo-hoo, suck it up, you have to realize that the reason I go ahead of him is because he's usually selling/crafting stuff. So I'd have to wait for him to finish to invite him, else he forgets I sent the invite or accidentally declines it, and what if I'm in the middle of a level/battling stuff? I would end up either having to stand still long enough in the middle of a fight to send the invite, or wait until I defeat everything, at which point, wouldn't it have been easier for him to just join me and help me defeat stuff?

So your last statement was in poor taste, as you assumed I was soloing. Which is a problem far too common with these forums.

Also, Final11's suggestion was a better one. If you don't have the courtesy to ask to join a party, the least they could do is make you wait until they start of the next level to add you to the party.

I do however, have it locked so guildmates can't randomly join me and are forced to actually ask my permission. So I can tell them "Hang on, we're almost done with this level. I'll invite you after we go down the elevator" or "Sorry, we're just duo-ing right now."

Personally, I think they

Personally, I think they should just spawn you in "death observer mode" and then charge you 10 Energy to "respawn" (regardless of which tier you are in).

Well for your situation

Well for your situation locked is fine, the invitation system is made to allow leaving an invitation hanging as long as necessary. I'm not sure how anyone could fail to notice the icon for a hidden invitation when they're no longer busy.

I like Tyrfang's idea. Infact

I like Tyrfang's idea. Infact I mentioned another thread that there should be a spectator mode, so friends can view you what your doing (of course you can turn spectator mode off if you don't want your friends to see what your doing. But where is the fun of that? For me, I wouldn't mind showing my friends how beast I am!). But for some reason, many people doesn't like the idea. =/

Honestly? I've been sent

Honestly? I've been sent trade requests that don't pop up on my screen, and I didn't notice them until the person was like "Hey, you wanted this for that, right? Why aren't you accepting my trade request?" And then I looked, and sure enough there was that little exclamation mark over the button, while I was completely unawares. And it is REALLY easy to just hit "No thanks" or whatever if you're busy and not really paying attention. I also have a problem with hitting "Ignore" instead of "Invite" because they're right next to each other, and they both start with "i" and end with "e" (and if you know anything of the human psyche, our brains tend to autofill if the first and last letters are correct). Also- why are you even starting this argument with me? It's really stupid, and completely unrelated to the suggestion. So I think you should just stop.

Also, this topic is very pathetic, in my opinion. This is like demanding a refund for $0.04. Literally. That is the monetary value of 10 CE. In game, that's roughly 400 crowns. And quite frankly, you are given 100 free energy a day, so I really don't see the problem here.

But yes, Tyrfang's idea sounds good. Though, I think allowing you to respawn might be a bit counter-productive. Unless you find out they're in the beginning, I suppose. So yeh, maybe once they've advanced past a certain point, you can only spawn as dead, essentially (so you don't "accidentally" revive yourself for the 10 energy, and then complain in the forums about how you didn't know they were almost done, and that you deserve your 10 energy back).

Agreeing with Matoro. I hate

Agreeing with Matoro. I hate joining a party with only 10ME left for that day and winding up at the halfway point! All you did was waste 10ME for some lame minerals. WTF?
