ONLY a few tips for the new recruits cuz im a t3 and had TESTED it from t1 until t3....
so here's the List.

1> for T1: Dont go to Snarby cuz it wont give u so much cr but 3 or 2 frumious fang.Try to find like 2 or 3 arena in t1 expedition.Trust me cuz arena give u better cr.

2>for T2:Had some fun in pwning JEllies :D that is in the Royal Jelly Palace(2.5-2.8kcr like that).Dont ever go the the Roarmulus Twins place cuz it really give low amount of cr.Except u are going to get the tokens(about 1.8-2.4kcr like that)

3>for T3:You could get around 7.5kcr or sometimes 8.1kcr(OLD PATCH 12kcr) at the famous Fiery Storm Citadel(FSC).NOTE: you will use like 35mist although you travels to 4th depth cuz in FSC you will see the mist increase faster cuz in a depth u will have a long fight with a bunch of fiery fking monster...that i hate....

---------JUST USE THE MISSIONS LOG FOR KNIGHTS THAT HAVE DONE ALL THE MISSIONS--------

hope this help :D
ty..

Good overview, just a few additions/corrections...

Just my suggested corrections:

1: Snarby is actually great for easy 2* gear. Newbies (especially those who prefer swords) should farm Snarbolax until they have the 10 tokens for the Bristling Buckler (provides sword damage boost), and maybe another 10 for the Snarble Barb (quick access to a fiend/beast destroying weapon). After these pieces of equipment are acquired, yes, arena-heavy levels would be better for cr and heat.

2: The RJP mission yields 2.6k-3.4k crowns, plus tokens. I'd assume the clockworks version is similar or slightly better. I concur that farming this is a great option, the weapon rewards from the tokens are also very useful. Roarmulus Twins should only be done for token rewards, and then you should go back to RJP after you've gotten what you wanted. Arena heavy gates are also an option to avoid the repetitive grind that is RJP, without losing much cr/heat, and potentially gaining more if there are 3+ arenas throughout the Tier.

3: Remove the "OLD PATCH" note. That was more of a bug than anything, the payout was abnormally ridiculously high. Payout is about right, it's around 7.2k-8.3k from my experience, varies depending on how often you do it :P Also, there are five depths in FSC including Vanaduke. If you're doing FSC and skipping Vanaduke, you might as well do RJP since you'll get a little fewer crowns but with a ton less effort. Also, you should always start a run with enough mist for the elevators from the start, so that any leftover can be used toward revives if your party is terribad or you're having a bad day.

@Asukalan

The mission version of FSC (King of Ashes) did give around 12k per run when the mission was first added, which was rectified in a subsequent patch. I guess there was a lack of clarity in which version, Mission or Clockworks, we were discussing. My apologies :/

I've had the FSC (Mission) give above 8k. I've hit 8.3k as a high, just realized I typed 8.6k probably a screwup from typing fast on the numpad. Fixing it now.

Before new players do any of

Before new players do any of those tho - they should get better at dodging and kiting, and learn how not to use the full combo every time. For arenas they need to learn how to control the wave spawning.

Further more is co-operating with teammates by NOT going after the same target, not unfreeze troublesome enemies right away and free frozen fellow knights.

Otherwise they would just waste mist/CE in reviving, and earn a lot less or even dip into the red.

Not true if you factor in token value. I've never had a RoF run give me up to 4k per run post-patch. An RJP (mission) run is 2.6-3.4k + 700cr from token value (assuming you just vendor the rewards), and more if you take the time to unbind/sell Sealed Swords & Antiguas. Meaning you get 3.3-4.1k on an RJP run, whereas you can get <3k on RoF on occasion.

Difficulty is a matter of opinion. RJP spawns are perfectly predictable, zero variation, which makes it easier to me. Arenas are extremely predictable as well but the enemy types are not always consistent (beasts/jellies swap spawns in the arena). Either way, when you're farming these, both will become stupidly easy due to the repetition of the same areas :P

Rise or Fall is currently the most popular mission to farm crowns on. Much, MUCH easier than FSC, and pays 1,000 CR/Floor. FSC gives 1,600 CR/Floor, but is much harder, and isn't unlocked until almost end-game. When RoF is unlocked soon after entering T2.

Hope this helped :)

RoF: 3 floors @ 1,000 CR/Floor = 3,000 (Easy)
FSC: 5 floors @ 1,600 CR/Floor = 8,000 (Hard)

O_o That's odd. If you have gear good enough for FSC, I'd think you'd be overpowered in RoF.

I think that the rise or fall mission would do alot of good. i mean you kinda go to the arena without having to encounter like graveyard or candlestick keep. i mean, arenas give u lots of crowns

I normally only do 1st and 2nd levels in RJP, and the payout that I have seen is between ~2300 cr & ~2800 cr for both levels combined.

The reason I do RJP over ROF, is that ROF takes 30 mist for ~3100 cr, whereas RJP takes 20 mist for ~2500 cr (average).

Based on how many times you can do each in a day, and not accounting for mist acquired while playing:
ROF 3x= 9300cr (10 mist left over)
RJP 5x= 12500cr (0 mist left over)

Yeah, you do get a bit more from RJP, and have the option to do the boss if you need tokens for weapons, though RoF is easier. A good team really makes the difference in RJP, while pulling in RoF you can drag someone along pretty easily.

I wonder, do people ever coordinate having people take turns doing RoF until the start of the arena then invite a party? For a party of four, if each person took a turn, each would do the first 2 levels plus the arena 4 times, either altogether (in the arena) or all going solo after joining. The downside would be the waiting for each person to work his or her way through the first 2 levels.

People aren't taking in Token rewards for Vanaduke. Each token is worth 1K each, so take 1600 and turn it to 2200 crowns.

Hhmmm

Looks like we will have to come up with new numbers for RJP runs. I'm not as excited to get on tonight for my nightly RJP run... Yeah, normally only have time for 1, maybe 2 runs. Occasionally I will have time for 3 or more, but not often. It's becoming tiring trying to keep playing without spending money on CE. I'm pretty sure that's what the plan is. Make it so that, much like I have read about WOW, in order to get past level xx, you have to spend real money.

I am interested to see how the guns and bombs are with this new patch!

It's going to take a LONG time to save my crowns for 5 star gear... FSC is not possible for me to do right now (mission is on the next screen I think), and I won't be buying CE until it's at a fair price. The price that was set for the holiday sale was perfect. Had I known what I know now, I would have spent a few bucks on CE. $3 for the explorer pack (or was it starter...) is a great price. For $3 currently, you can get yourself ~1 piece of 5 star equipment... that seems like a lot considering how much most other video games cost... Two sets of 5 star gear, which won't take you everywhere you want to go, will cost ~$30-$40. I will want to have at least 3 sets, plus a bunch of cool weapons. I don't think I will be doing that for a long time, it's just not worth it, and that's disappointing since there is 1/3 of the game I won't really be able to see with my 4 star gear. T3 in 4 star is possible, and I do some of it, but the missions got exponentially harder within the course of about 6 missions. I'm stuck for a VERY long time on mission 8-2 simply because it costs so much to go any further. Vanguard is an impossible goal without dedicating 3+ hours a day for many months, and without upgrading any of my current 2 and 3 star gear.

That was way off topic, sorry. I really like this game, and it has great potential to be fantastic, but it's just so focused on making money that without exploits or great salesman tactics, it's nearly impossible to succeed without real $$$.
