I really missed out on all the fun in celebrating the game's first anniversary and winning such goods from the party. Still, we did come a long way, didn't we? From discovering what the mysterious planet, Cradle's origins are, to battling ferocious foes like the Snarbolax, Royal Jelly, the Roarmulus Twins, Lord Vanaduke (though, I've yet to beat him), Warmaster Seerus, accomplishing many missions together, and much fun and challenging stuff OOO has brought out on the loads of fun adventures we have had for the past year!

Just to say this, though. Will the anniversary event repeat next year with a few new goods they will bring out? It's fun to partake the anniversary event year after year, but there will be a few new things for the next anniversary event OOO will plan soon enough.

Other than that, the party sounded like a blast. I would have been there, but I was absent. Oh, well. There's always next year, as folks say. Can't wait to see loads of new things OOO has in store for Spiral Knights' year two! I wonder what they could be planning?

Keep up with the great work adding new stuff to the game, OOO! I highly and truly appreciate all the work you've done for the past year!

I'm going to ignore that first bit of your comment.

There's no need for verbal insults, you know.

You guys should vent with me

You guys should vent with me someday, just to understand why I type the way I type. It will make so much more sense the posts I post. & I'm sorry about that, it's how I show affection. Just how my chihuahua shows affection with me when he does that "jump-on-my-leg" thing. Of course it's not something that I'm looking forward to seeing when he tells me he loves me & I'm a good owner but this is his way & watcha gonna do?

....

Indeed.

Three Rings (or triple O as I keep saying... Dang my idiocy) has brought this game further than my initial predictions entailed it to. I have played this game for quite some time, left, come back, left again, and finally came back a final time. There are various reasons why I left and came back, but the important thing is just that. I came back. Some people put the developers down for some of the additions they add, and rightly so, they are not always perfect, but in my opinion Three Rings has taken our suggestions and made them into a game we can all play and love. Like I said, it's not perfect and I can definatley think of some improvements, but this is neither the time nor place for that (suggestions go in the suggestions forum!).

Anyway, it's a brilliant game so far and I look forward to the additions and improvements Three Rings come out with. And it's nice to see somebody who missed the anniversary event not cry about it.

Here's to another year of great process :)

TL;DR: I agree, looking forward to a year of improvements and additions. Keep it up Three Rings.

Spiral Knights let's us moves

Spiral Knights let's us moves freely, there is no stand in place & auto-attack fight. Here you need strategy unlike those other games. I can move around & fight, I can shoot from range, it's something I've never played before which is why it's so fun. Reminds me of Super Smash Brothers Melee & of course for those of you who have played that game know how sweet it was. I don't console game anymore & don't game much in general. There are somewhat faulty things with the way everything works in this game excluding the game play is like. The game play is great & I love the puzzle work of it.

I'd love to get hired as OOOs's accountant so I can help them handle some of the economy content that doesn't just revolve around CE sellers making TEH profitxz & them being the only ones who can get featured auctions(P2P basically or prove me wrong). Sadly I have no degrees & am unemployed.

What?

"I really missed out on all the fun in celebrating the game's first anniversary and winning such goods from the party. Still, we did come a long way, didn't we? Warwhat who? (Is a original OOO/Sega account, f2p player)

"accomplishing many missions together, and much fun and challenging stuff OOO has brought out on the loads of fun adventures we have had for the past year!"

Challenge? Where? Fiend strata? Because this game has been pushed down in difficulty a lot...
_

And FYI, the "party" was like Halloween event, but without boss, just slimes that could Fire you in a cake skin, with higher requirement for an awful hat and a CE promo. You didn't lose on anything, the game keeps being the same as when Roarmulus was launched, only having improved on purchasing aspects on both content and customization, the only actual update the recent rebalancing of equipments, which is going on these days.

Sorry for launching vitriol on this parade, but I have to be the annoying guy that points to the BIG elephant in the room. Please ignore this comment if you wish, I am just a voice. Though I am going to get quite flamed, I know...

I really, really hope this game improves in the coming months.

To answer your questions in order, Aumir...

First, Warmaster Seerus is one of the Crimson Order members, who is the mastermind behind the Roarmulus Twins' creation. He can be battled in the end of Operation: Crimson Hammer's fifth level, "Engines of War" in the Grand Arsenal. He is also the first expansion boss of the game, too. If you haven't beaten him yet, then might I suggest purchasing the first expansion mission pack. It's not too pricey. Just fairly cheap (no offense intended).

Second, the meaning of the word "challenging stuff" is the treacherous Shadow Lairs, which has been released a few months ago, are the challenges for the toughest Knights so far, only for those who have gained Tier 3 clearance. The Shadow Lair has challenges that are tough for the most powerful Knights so far and has transformed bosses from the Clockwork depths that are considered to be quite difficult, but the rewards for defeating them in combat are much more bountiful to date.

And, it's no big deal. Equipment rebalancing is occuring for now, but Three Rings has promised to bring out more challenges for us, from those who have started the game to those who have risen to the top so far, in terms of acquiring powerful gear and meeting certain requirements.

Keep supporting Three Rings, and they'll keep supporting us!

Keep supporting us? They

Keep supporting us? They didn't support me at all since Roarmulus and MAYBE the Halloween event, because there I had fun, and I KNOW they don't have to, because I am a free player. All that content you just mentioned? Behind paywalls! Something a free player won't do regularly or ever, I am not interested at all in paying for a "hero mode" dungeon with a "special level" after them and a exclusive alchemy machine with almost useless items unless you UV them up to eleven depending of your playing style.

I am NOT interested in the current "pricing" for them, and even more, I can't even as a f2p player exchange the expansion mission with anyone for my exchanged energy with other players because OOO thought it would be better to ride the Steam train and leave us original players and Kongregate users out of it.

Also, did you know that Sega just mentioned their politic with Phantasy Star Online 2 is to not charge for extra areas, just storage, trading and reviving in the spot? And that they themselves say it is "the right way to do a MMO"? Sega themselves just threw something towards this game, and OOO should listen and change before competition comes their way. http://kotaku.com/5905281/phantasy-star-online-2-producer-talks-about-de...

Maybe you think you are talking with a paying player, sorry if I am way too aggresive, but I am just really disappointed of all the wasted potential... like the recently released "pets": "everyone" (not me) wanted pets, and they make a hanging badge that only moves their head around instead of following you... they aren't calling it pets, but they are. Seriously. And to me it just screams lazy and "give us crowns to patch the economy because we can't".

Oh well, I should retreat by now. Enjoy your anniversary, though I really didn't and I tried to. x.x
