I used to run the guild which ran off the official Steam forums until recently. It was once a thriving guild for Steam newcomers but eventually everyone just stopped playing or moved onto more hardcore guilds. Tried to make it last as long as possible but eventually became too lazy to recruit and now I killed it. Since I'm far too lazy to try and run a guild for a game that I've pretty much done everything on, I'm looking for a new guild to call home. I'm much too lazy to read through dozens of recruitment threads so I'll give you (hopefully) interested parties a rundown of what I'm looking for.
A guild that ...
- Is mature, preferably with older players but as long as people can communicate clearly I'm down
- Has between 30-75 "active" members with at least a half dozen online at any given time (except odd hours)
- Has people capable of running Firestorm Citadel without major problem
- Has people very active in guildchat
- Doesn't screw members with "guild taxes" or other useless hoops to maintain members
What I will bring to the guild ...
- A Tier 3 player with experience going back to the Steam launch
- A helpful personality willing to assist new (and older!) players and never begs for free stuff; I haul my own weight
- A large arsenal including Fang of Vog, Crest of Almire, Shivermist, Blitz Needle, DA, AP, and various other 4* and 5* gear
- 13,000+ Prestige Points (granted that means very little but whatever)
- Has earned every single in-game achievement except that pesky 10k minerals one (though I'm close!)
- Has access to Operation: Crimson Hammer (and all related rewards)
What I mean by semi-active is that I usually log in daily to at least do the prestige mission and maybe a JK or FSC run if I have time. Really, the only thing I haven't done is Shadow Lairs and that's because they're just too plain expensive to bother with, although I will change my tune if experienced players are willing to go with me and help split the cost of a shadow key.
Overall I try to be helpful and consider myself mature and a decent player who can regularly make it through FSC without dying. I'm not the most active and may not get on *every* day but will be on most days. Would be happy to answer questions or concerns.
Thanks for your time in advance.
How goes?
Im surprised this has gone 18 hours without respons, looks like I'm the lucky first! As a guild, we fill all of your requirements, simple as that. We are (the majority) over 20 years of age, we have about 80 members who are active (i purge every three weeks) at various times. Usually about 8-9 on at once, but up to 15 during peak periods. Very little drama (as you would expect), people are respectful, and of course there is no fee to join the Night's Watch. One thing I have been looking for is active lockdown players, or people who would be interested in Lockdown. Not a requirement, but so you know we are growing in those who enjoy LD.
We have a few chatterboxes (myslef among the chief offenders) and would certainly welcome another voice. You can rest assure, your screen will have plenty of green on it during busier hours. We are an eastern time zone guild for the most part, but we have central and pacific players in good amounts, and a few from europe to balance it out. It is rare that the guild list is empty of those online.
We also do a fair amount of shadow lairs, and either split the cost, or someone just flat out buys the key, so you would be more than welcome to do your first with us as well.
Send me some mail in game, and let me know if you would care to join.
Perronius, GM of The Nights Watch.
