I have a Freezing Vaporizer with high damage boost on gremlins. Does it do more damage to gremlins? Because vaporizers doesn't really do damage, just status effect. AFAIK.

As the others have said, the haze-style bombs do have a small blast radius that inflicts damage. This is why they are elemental bombs; the damage dealt in this small blast radius is elemental damage. For an elemental-vulnerable monster (construct or undead), the damage can be nontrivial (200-300 points). For an elemental-resistant monster (gremlins, beasts) the damage is pretty poor. So, on these monsters, the haze-style bombs are really useful only for the status they inflict. So that UV you have is pretty close to worthless. Sorry.
That said, if you'd like to get an idea of how big the damage bonus effect is, then read the wiki page "Abilities".
If an enemy stands right on top of the bomb or really close to it as it releases the mist, there's a small and weak damage blast.
