I'd like to be able to put my stamp on a gate in a more personal way. It would be nice to have a way of metaphorically scrawling "KHARNOR WAZ HERE" everywhere I go.
And so, vanity minerals/alloys! (are they still called alloys? they're not called that in the recipe window anymore.)
You buy/craft them, customise them, add them to a gate, and something special gets added to a single level.
For example: you could add a message to your mineral, and that would create a small plaque somewhere on a level that players could activate to read your message.
More expensive minerals could have larger effects, such as creating a statue of your character, or a whole room filled with such statues and streamers and confetti and cake. Or perhaps a special door or treasure box that can only be opened by you.
but let it to be implemented at the end of the closed beta, or at the begin of the open beta. I support some kind of signature to our constructions, but disagree in it prematre release.
Now, comenting and adding ideas:
>Messages would need to be short (like a tweet, maybe), and only a max of 2 or 3 per level, randomly, so you never know if you will find your message in a floor. Also, the message would not be added in the floors that you helped, but in all the gate, to ensure that i appears more frequently, but with some number at the side of your message to tell in wich floors you helped. A small bonus in heat and crowns would be added everytime someone clics in the machine to show your message (like the same way you get them for helping make a gate everytime someone uses it), of course, only one small bonus per person per floor that it is activated (so, if a friend finds it, it will mean nothing to you if he simply clics a lot in your message).
>Statues...good, but with name, because it always can be another one equal to you here >_<. Maybe a television like screen, that shows your character at the time of the construction, showing the attacks and chargeds of your weapons at the time, with your name up at the screen...and maybe a small photo room with photos (like those to the best employer of the year), with a lot of goblin and devilings images, and the images of the people who helped, with an examine feature to see their face and name...
