Alright, I brought myself to decide to log in to the Forums to post my quick opinion on the update

IMO
It is the equivalent of a CE promo, but is available to all players (F2P / P2P) from the start, and there's only a few different choices as its more of a test for next time.
Care to explain why you shell out $ for promos, which give you purely aesthetic items and a bunch of CE, but begin to rage when for once its F2P and is a major crown sink?
That being said; this community is too predictable:
Ce promo
Everyone happy + some rage
Nothing important
Regular update with new F2P content, but only for aesthetics
50% hate on OOO, 30% love to OOO, 20% everyone else.
Some rage
Normal
Ce promo
Content release (Shadow lairs for example)
rage for a month, then quiet
ENTER CE INFLUX STAGE:
Ce goes up
Petition threads to lower it
people say wait for a promo for it to lower
Bugfix
Ce promo
back to "normal". Less rage
Loop infinitely
Have fun guys, 'cus I don't see us going anywhere fast...

Its been said, but it hasn't been done by OOO. Then again the game's only been out for 1 year, so its debatable on how much they should/ shouldn't have in the game.

Some of us are far too touchy over matters. It quickly becomes personal, for apparently no reason other than money already spent somehow cheapened in value.
We're just too self-centered really. The same things can happen to anyone else in a similar way, and we won't care. But if it happens to you, essentially the same thing in a different skin, it suddenly becomes personal.
No offense implied victims.
But yeah, SK could do with some new content. People are getting sick of the core being the end, although that's kinda the idea the game's based around.
Too many variables, too few people who think of them. This is getting tough.

The SK community are just a bunch of dramatic over grown babies. Being adults is pitiful, look @ how they selfishly target OOOs over a small patch update to add more of a friendly environment to the game. I wear a diaper on my head so I don't complain about what they complain about unless I'm just trolling.
OOOs, these adults & adult-wana-be teens are just following the media here or should I say the "adult adults who don't know the moral of why the play video games other than in-game profit & being better than everyone else". Most of these posts I've seen on the forums are just made up bs to have something to hold OOOs accountable for as they done goofed up in their game. It's mostly those heavy gaming dudes that only do FSC to make money & PvP content that are making such a fuss that we didn't get an expansion expansion to the game.
These players are just like these fake injuries soccer players do in soccer, dramatic idiots who if it were true about what they said then they would have left SK along time ago like I did back in June & in December of 2011. I left for different reasons since I know why I play Spiral Knights.
