Yes, this is an I quit thread. However, I am not an idiot, I realize that most of you probably don't give a [scrap] (except for some regulars on the suggestion forums). This isn't about me quitting, it is a plea to those of you who are leaving the game for any reason.

Please, please, fund a noobie.

I realize that this is probably different for the P2P people who have all MAX/VH uvs, and every single weapon in the game, but it would be incredible if they did this too. Basically what I did when I quit was went into the Town Square, found a poor new player standing around looking lost, asked him/her a few questions to make sure they weren't a 5* player, and unloaded my [bolts] on them. And I mean everything. I traded every single unbound item I had, I put all my bound accessories on wolver coats and passed them on, gave him every single material I owned. I unbound as much as I could, gave it to him, then passed him the rest of my money and CE. It made it so that when I left, all the items and money in my account did not go to waste, but funded a new generation of players.

Thank you.

TL;DR, Don't be a selfish [rust bucket] and keep your stuff when you quit, pass it along like a good philanthropist.

@Psycho

Well, it's not like I'll have any problems with being banned.

I like the idea, but wouldn't it be better to distribute your gear to as many newbies as possible?

Still, it's an awesome thing to do!

As great as this is- most

As great as this is- most newbies leaving after around a week or two. If I were you, I'd distribute it to people who care- the new tier three players. I'd have chosen a promising one of them, via random party to FSC a dozen or so times, but then, thats just me

Don't be a selfish [rust bucket] and keep your stuff when you quit, pass it along like a good philanthropist.

The only thing you're doing is ruining the sense of discovery and accomplishment one typically experiences when new at a game for the person you're giving a free ride to. I love how people can take pity on people who are "poor" in-game and fail to realize that on the other side of the screen is a person who is fortunate enough to own a computer with access to the internet and time to play games.

Giving my *5 weapons to a

Giving my *5 weapons to a person who has just started playing will not better the experience they will have in the game. If anything, it is detrimental to their experience. Who knows, maybe within a few weeks they'll be just as you leaving the game. So why bother? The answer is don't.

Also, I worked for my stuff. Why should I give it to new players? Yes yes, it may be seen as a sort of "charity" to some, but it isn't. Honestly I don't feel this mmo needs a charity, seeing as how it is arguably easy to get good gear.

In response to most of those,

In response to most of those, I didn't have enough CE to unbind anything but 2* gear at the time, and I was unwilling to spend the time to get it. Most of what I gave the player was materials, and if you're the kind of person that finds a "sense of discovery and accomplishment" in collecting materials, you may need to rethink your game choice.

That assumes that you never

That assumes that you never want to come back...the very advantage of F2P games is you can play them whenever and not feel guilty that you are losign anything.
